I've seen this effect in friends and family when you say something about Trump or vaccines. They instantly become very angry. It is like a programmed mental response and not some legitimate thoughts.
I've seen thos response in people on this site when you ask a question about Trump and whether or not he is a good guy.

This is true, even though in my opinion Trump is a good guy people should be able to ask whether he is or not (as long as they respect the written and unwritten laws of this forum).
My mom believes totally in the deep state, the great reset, etc... but any time I mention the idea they might be strait up pedos or satanists she gets all weird and tells me she's tired of hearing my stupid internet theories etc. She is completely unwilling to see the truth because for her I guess its too horrible. You know how Q said the truth would put people in the hospital... I actually worry when the whole truth is revealed she might just break. Some people just have a lower threshold of evil their minds can process. Although some are programmed too.
I think what your Mom is experiencing is called cognitive dissonance. The satanists are bad but the number of pedos is enough to push most people to the edge and they just have to shut down before they lose their collective shizizzle.

Husband was like this for many months and then as more and more stuff became obvious, he now says that he just couldn’t believe that people today would be that evil. He now knows they are.

It's honestly scary as fuck to witness it in person, my mom was the first I ever saw do this where it was like she just mentally died for 15 to 30 seconds. They don't move at all, and don't react in the slightest way to noise at the very least. Was too scared to bother giving other senses a serious test I was ready to call 911, then all the the thei4 entire body springs back to life, acs lmakes me think she has problems remembering what occurred shortly before getting nto this state. I've started to see signs of her slowly waking up but holy shit it is scary seeing people in this sort of state, especially sad seeing my family and friends that I love dearly being lied to and harmed in such a way that it's mind boggling they don't see it.

What led up to your mom freezing? Were you having a conversation? Did she read or watch something that went against her beliefs?
Otherwise completely normal conversation, somehow covid gets mentioned (not hard nowadays), and eventually something I say will trigger it, the response is INSTANT, I can be mid sentence but I guess whatever word I said was a trigger: totally blank dead inside look, completely motionless.
One problem is that even if you ask her she doesn't really have a firm belief on anything. The type of person that if given the chance when asked what her beliefs are would call all her friends and go with the majority belief there

Yesterday, while walking my dog, I met a nurse. She was wearing a mask. I kept staring at it because a) we were outdoors and b) every time she took a breath, the mask would get sucked in. Distracting. So she brings up why she's wearing the mask. Enter Agent Smith.
I think back at the dynamics of that conversation and how it started out slowly. Then as I point out truths, she just starts making up shit. And I'm not aggressive with my approach. I let people go on with nonsense and then I throw the hammer down. I believe it was a comment about government. That topic always gets to this type. It was like her brain literally shut down and abruptly, she turned away and politely said, "I have to go."
It was like watching CNN. This stuff is so powerful in many. It's why extreme measures are necessary to break through it. And, some won't be able to. Funny how the extreme left calls us a cult. Again with their projections.
