My husband, though completely aware of everything happening right now (and not vaxing no matter what) has not exactly taken good care of himself and now he's in a bad place. High BP and just had a mild stroke from my estimation. He's been pretty toxed out for a while and even through many arguments where I pleaded with him to take care of himself, caring for him rests on me.
Doing as much with natural healthcare as I can, but I am OVERWHELMED and far away from family. I am just looking for advice for anyone in a similar boat or having advice for staying out of mainstream healthcare -- the last time he had an issue years ago, the doctor nearly killed him.
For something so serious and acute, are there naturopathic or alternative doctors non-vax friendly that can be helpful? how to find.
Also accepting prayers and good thoughts if you've got them.
Look for a functional medicine doctor in your area. They can prescribe traditional medicines as they are real doctors. However they tend to look at the entire individual and look for the cause rather than just treat the symptoms with medicine as traditional docs do. And they can use holistic medicine if appropriate.
Is that a DO or something different?
https://www.healthline.com/health/difference-between-md-and-do You can tell which type of degree a doctor has by the letters after their name. If they went to a traditional (allopathic) medical school, they’ll have “MD” after their name, indicating they have a doctor of medicine degree. If they went to an osteopathic medical school, they’ll have “DO” after their name, meaning they have a doctor of osteopathic medicine degree.
A functional doctor has additional training. So s/he can have either of those degrees after their name.
I see a naturopath! Real doctors, real medicine. My toddler only goes to naturopaths now too. A lot of them can bill insurance 👍🏻 I say make a consult appointment
Maybe look for a Walsh protocol functional medicine doctor?
Walsh is great, but they mostly work along the lines of mental health:

Prepare to pay cash and find a holistic clinic. Some might try to kick you back to a hospital if you mention stroke because of liability.
If he has high cholesterol, you can fix it fast with a no sugar, no simple carbs diet. I dropped my LDL From 189 to 46 in 40 days on a Daniel Fast (fruits, veggies, nuts only). 1.7 oz 100% Pomegranate Juice daily helps clear up heart blockage as well- 30% reduction in the PJ group and 9% increase in the placebo group over a year (look up the numbers if you want to read the study).
You are what you eat. And I had been eating whatever was on sale at the grocery store my whole life. I developed a heart blockage at 35 and had to dramatically change everything about my diet and lifestyle. I had to drop added sugar completely. And it was easy, because I found that good fats are on the menu instead- fatty (grass-fed) beef, coconut and olive and avocado oil, butter, cheese, bacon- these things all HELPED my bad cholesterol go down and my good cholesterol go up even further after my initial 40-day Daniel Fast. Everything they tell us about heart healthy eating is a lie. No-fat salad dressing is trash (canola oil and soybean oil are trash as well, it is hard to find alternatives, but tons of cheese and homemade dressing is very excellent) because Vitamin K is fat-soluble and you cannot absorb it properly without pairing it with fats- and iceberg and romaine lettuce have 20-40mcg of vitamin K per serving while organic spinach or kale have closer to 450mcg of Vitamin K. Sams Club and Costco sell more organic produce than any other grocery in the country and the prices are way lower. Obviously local is best, but that’s not an option for everyone.
Vitamin K is just one example, there are dozens like this. Reclaim your health through diet- and do it while eating like a king. I made super-fat (American) wagyu burgers, grilled barramundi and mahi mahi, smoked a duck and ate all-beef hot dogs with no nitrates over the past three days (I usually don’t eat much meat but we had guests and a full freezer). Just cut out sugar and non-organic wheat (the harvest process often includes spraying the dying wheat with glyphosate right before harvest to initiate a further blooming of kernels that increases the yield by up to 30%. It’s bad news- most people probably aren’t gluten intolerant, they are PESTICIDE intolerant).
Stop eating fake processed foods. Look up chemicals in soaps you use and cut out heavy metals from food and antiperspirant. I use EWG.org to vet all ingredients and all products I buy now. No more rashes or reactions anymore.
A heavy metal and fluoride detox is vital. Chlorella, cilantro oil, borax (also cures arthritis with ⅛ tsp in a liter of water every day for 3 weeks- it’s the sodium salt of Boron and highly bioavailable with and LD50 toxicity that is half of Table Salt- Boron helps calcium go where it needs to and also binds very well to fluoride- apples used to have close to 40mg boron and now with soil depletion and 24/7/365 farming practices they have about 0.6mg of boron).
Once you get rid of all the allergens and toxins in your life and detox to start removing them from your body, all the hyper-inflammatory immune responses will begin to calm down. Your body can now begin to heal itself and defend itself.
Turmeric is an excellent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant (and zero-side effect antidepressant! 1000mg Turmeric daily was shown to be better than the standard 20mg dose of Prozac, except with no side effects)- organic is best as some unscrupulous characters like to mix in lead to weigh down the turmeric to make more money.
I use Weston Price’s work as a guide, there is a foundation in his name that carries on his mission of eating traditional, real foods to claim the healthy bodies that God gave us. https://www.westonaprice.org/
There are obviously injuries and genetic abnormalities that lead to health conditions that are not fixable, but the most likely reason we have bad health is because we are doing it wrong. And there is so much freedom in understanding this, because it means you are not condemned to poor health- you can make tangible decisions to fix almost any chronic condition.
I hate giving Amazon money but their subscribe and save feature helps me actually afford high quality supplements with autoship deliveries with 15% discount. I get some others from Sam’s or Costco as well and the 5% cash back from their branded Credit Cards helps a ton- just never spend money you do not have and autopay the full balance every month to give these companies as little of your money as possible. I wish it could be zero, but I’m not in a position yet to be so choosy.
I can personally vouch for the Vitamin K, I take the supplement from Costco & within two weeks I am back to "normal" blood pressure levels every time.
When I forget to take them for a couple weeks my blood pressure goes back up, and taking it again always brings it back down.
Thanks for the other info Hilltopper
I found a tiny 5000iu D3 and 100mcg Vitamin K2 M7 softgel made by Micro Ingredients on Amazon. Take with meals or a glob of coconut oil or butter or cheese or nuts because these minerals are fat soluble.
My wife noticed her hair and nails were considerably thicker and more lustrous and stronger after adding Vitamin K supplement.
Similar situation here. Where do we go for surgery?
What kind of surgery might you need? I can help you find the right doctor and procedure. And recommended resources to support healing via diet. There is so
I learned so much this last year after my wife had thyroid issues and they recommended either excision or irradiation with no third option and I (correctly) thought they were insane and dangerous for recommending either despite those being the standard treatments. I found an Endocrinologist who does a procedure using sound waves with no side effects (the other two would have resulted in lifelong autoimmune conditions). And when she met my wife, her first question was “Why are you wearing a mask? Are you sick? Take it off.” And proceeded to tell her that Fauci was a criminal.
Knee and hip replacement.
Try Boron supplementation first in the form of Borax. The dose is ⅛ tsp in a liter of water sipped over a day for 3 weeks. Boron helps your body properly allocate calcium.
I was at a point after multiple shoulder injuries where I couldn’t raise my left arm above my head- this persisted for years. After week 1 of Borax I had full range of motion back. My back and neck soreness from previous injuries is gone as well.

Here are a handful of peer-reviewed studies. At least read the abstracts, you need to build informed consent and understand what you are doing if you try a particular nutritional supplement.

Here is the toxicity profile: https://www3.epa.gov/pesticides/chem_search/cleared_reviews/csr_PC-011102_1-Aug-69_002.pdf
The LD50 toxicity score in male rats is approximately 6g/kg. I weigh 100kg so for me a fatal dose of Borax would be 600g, which is 1.3 pounds or almost 2 ¼ cups.
For reference, table salt is twice as toxic with an LD50 of 3g/kg, which means the fatal dose of NaCl for me is 300g, 0.65 pounds or 1 ⅛ cups. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5537768/
The primary bone building minerals are: Calcium, Phosphorus, Boron, Vitamin K, Magnesium, and Vitamin D3. Check your diet and make sure you get way more than the recommended daily amount of of ALL of these. The upper recommended limit of D3 is 4,000 IU/day and the NIH recommends 600 IU, but Fauci’s emails revealed he personally takes 6,000 IU every day. Screw that guy, and remember, they tuned the recommended daily allowance to bare minimum levels- the Vitamin C recommendation was the bare minimum to not get scurvy. You can safely sustainably take 25x the RDA of 80mg (2,000mg) with the only symptom being diarrhea if you take too much and your body isn’t used to it. I drop 4,000mg (1tsp) in a smoothie if I am feeling a little tired or under the weather.
Give radical diet change and Borax supplementation a shot and you may not need surgery. No added sugars, cut most carbs, go for good fats like animal fats and oils that don’t require petroleum solvents to manufacture.
The Weston Price Foundation has great resources for helping people recover their health. https://www.westonaprice.org/
Thank you very much. Going to give it a try.
I take 10,000 iu D3, 200µg K2, 30mg zinc, 300mg magnesium and a trace amount of borax each day. It hasn't killed me (but it probably saved me from a serious outcome when I had covid symptoms early last year).
Getting borax today. Thanks for your regimen.
Start off with black seed oil (black cumin seed oil) while you search out further options. It's known to lower both blood pressure and cholesterol, as well as having many other health benefits. It's also been listed by some doctors as an alternative to Ivermectin if you can't get your hands on Ivermectin where you live. Then follow the advice in many of the other replies here.
Im gonna bet he doesn't even know what's in the fridge or on his plate so switch his food out over time w alternatives w less heart stoppers
My advice for high blood pressure is ditch the pills and eat a grape fruit frequently. It’ll naturally lower your bp.
[insert obvious I’m not a doctor, do your own research statement here]
I dropped 50# in 2 months. 52 year old white male, heterosexual, Christian. From 250-190#. 6'1.
Get rid of all the processed food. Eat healthy. Walk a Few miles everyday. I do 6 but 3 would be great.
Start drinking those protein shakes they sell at Walmart or wherever. Mix with Almond milk.
Get rid of dairy, soda, and chips.
Drink water.
So simple work so .easy
I had shittty. blood pressure now I have great blood pressure.
First of all must make a decision.
I'm going to list down food suggestions and the corresponding articles related to decreasing blood pressure that I found in the book Conquering Any Disease: The Ultimate High-Phytochemical Food-Healing System by Jeff Primack. His website: www.Food-Healing.com
-Beets (apparently its the highest food with Nitrate which converts into nitric oxide, which helps with blood circulation and lowering blood pressure; "Beetroot juice enhances cycling performance. Med Sci Sports Exerc. 2014; 46).
-Celery (he states, "Got high blood pressure? Eat 4-6 stalks of celery daily and you might be able to kiss it goodbye. I know dozens of my students who were able to normalize blood pressure within 3 months of incorporating celery. Most of these people made a lifestyle change and gave up the foods in section 2 of this book while following complete food healing protocol for cardiovascular enhancement." pg. 75 of book) Here is a quote from the study Antihypertensive effect of celery on rat blood pressure. J Med Food. 2013; 16: "Celery extracts have antihypertensive properties. They are attributable to actions of active hydrophobic Phthalides and can be considered as an antihypertensive agent in chronic treatment of elevated blood pressure." Additionally, in this study entitled, "Cardiovascular pharmacology of Phthalide in hypertensive mice," from the journalt Phytotherapy. 1997; 11: "Phthalides lower blood pressure acting as diuretic and vasodilator by impacting prostaglandins and calcium-channel blockers."
Ok, so there are probably like ten more foods he recommends, but after typing out the celery bit, I think you should just start there and follow these other recommendations of his: avoid all fried foods. Oxidative free radicals hardens fat into plaque, which is one of the main causes of high blood pressure. "Higher saturated fat intakes are actually associated with lower stroke risk." ("Associations of fats with cardiovascular disease in 18 countries." Lancet 2017; 390) He says the French and Italian have the lowest rates of hypertension, despite France having the highest saturated fat intake of all the nations. His hypothesis is that a high cholesterol and saturated fat diet with avoidance of free radicals in BBQ and fried foods leads to the longest lifespan. Here is the heart healing protocol he referred to in the celery section: #1: Eat RED Carotenoids everyday (red bell pepper or tomato paste, which boosts HDL good cholesterol. HDL breaks apart LDL. Carotenoids in pepper/tomato paste donate electrons to soften arterial plaque through anti-oxidant activity. Eat 1 tablespoon daily pepper paste or tomato paste. (Be sure to use organic veggies/fruits). #2: Morning tonic with extra reishi. Reishi is widely used in Asia to help lower LDL cholesterol and reduce angina and shortness of breath associated with coronary hear disease. Adenosine is the active molecule in resihi mushroom that opens the arteries. He recommends 3 dropperfuls x1 time daily with a morning tonic and for serious heart disease, 6 dropperfuls with the morning tonic. He recommends Dragon Herbs Wild Red Reishi. Reishi is completely safe and non-toxic even in extreme amounts. Reishi dilates arteries thereby stopping angina pain. Morning tonic (8 oz. of water, add 1-3 squirts of wild red reishi, 1/2 tablespoon of maca powder, 1/4 tsp. of mucuna powder, add 1 tsp. Reuteri or 1 Goodbelly (see his website for the goodbelly); stir well and drink on the spot), after that here is the rest of the morning ritual he recommends: drink 1 - 3 cups of hot lemon water, tea, or coffee in a relaxed state, keep drinking fluids until a big bowel movement is achieved, take a shower after bowel movement to clear sleep and stagnant Qi, make a high-phytochemical smoothie drink 20 oz, do qigong and then stretch 45-90min, eat protein from eggs and hot veggie breakfast. #3: Have a morning smoothie with organic fruits/vegetables using a 3-horsepower blender like Blendtec or Vitamix. He says you can add a big seed from an avocado in it as well. 20 oz of smoothie once daily. #4: Qigong and swimming are perhaps the two best types of exercise for people with heart disease. Many students that he has trained over the years have reversed high blood pressure and balanced blood sugar without changing their diet much, just doing Qigong. #5: Celery to lower high blood pressure. Eat 6 stalks of celery daily and you can kiss it goodbye. Celery contains the most luteolin, which is shown in clinical research to increase nitric oxide production. This is how celery relaxes muscles around arteries and allow your blood vessels to dilate. With more space inside the arteries, the blood can flow at a lower pressure. "Luteolin induces nitric oxide production and arterial relaxation. " Eur. J. Nutr. 2014; 53. Avoid high salt intake foods; 75% of salt eaten comes from processed foods. Avoid soy sauce if blood pressure is high. #6: Eat foods specifically to reverse heart disease: okra, eggplant. Okra contains special fibers and gums that pull the fat out from arteries. Okra must be eaten 4x week in some form. Chlorogenic acid in eggplant inhibits the ACE enzyme much like ACE inhibitors that lower cholesterol. It relaxes the walls of blood vessels and improves blood flow. If your heart disease is mild you can eat eggplant 3x week, 1/4 to 1/2 large eggplant every other day. If it is bad and you might need surgery, incorporate an eggplant tea. Seafood and shellfish like wild salmon, shrimp, and sardines have DHA-EPA oils that help raise HDL good cholesterol, which in turn lowers bad cholesterol. Fatty fish also appears to thin blood similarly to blood thinners. I suggest eating wild salmon, sardines, or shellfish 3x week. Additonally, pomegranate 2 oz juice or fruit pods blended with ice, beets (one small beet everyday in a salad or smoothie), 1 avocado daily, shiitake mushrooms 1-2x week, raw garlic as much as you can (a powerful blood thinner), high quality chocolate dark 1-6 small servings a week apart from meals, red onions daily raw and cooked (high in quercetin), 1oz aged cheese 3x week (aged gouda has the highest type in vitamin K2), use butter instead of seed oils to cook and olive oil on salads (don't cook with olive oil because it will turn carcinogenic), eggs 2x week (organic) with tomato/pepper paste. Avoid free radicals--the cause of lipid hardening.
Anyway, good luck and wishing you both the best of health. I recommend that you check out his website and buy his book--totally worth it. He has a ton of recommendations on his websites for recipes, qigong, different products that are actually really good. I utilize his advice a lot to help treat myself, my friends, and my family. I'm praying that you both will have the ability to heal yourselves, inside and out. God bless you both.
