Youngkin is making the right move. This is an act of state-level decentralization regarding mandates. Step up and be active in your community, be a part of it, like an AMERICAN.
Agreed, people way overreacted to this. None of the counties in VA did mandates on their own anyway. Without the context of the corrupted system we currently have a governor saying he'll let local governments do their own thing would be a good thing lol. The local battles are where we need to be.
I had this conversation today, someone felt like Youngkin wasn't doing what he said he would do. First we are on the Left Coast, so it wasn't like we really paid attention, so don't be butt hurt. Second, FINALLY! People will never get engaged unless politics become Local and personal.
Ehhh, as a Virginian I don't really trust him. He's too slick, he's too managed, everything from his head to his shoes to his personality seem manufactured for conservatives to respond favorably to... and I don't like that.
People are freaking out over nothing. He is staying out of it and leaving it up to local school boards, cities and counties to mandate... or not. This is a good thing.
Here’s the issue. Republicans get power, then immediately give it away because it’s the right thing to do. The problem is they don’t spend any time using that power to right the ship before ceding power. You have to fix things first
The problem is that one party uses every millisecond of their time in office consolidating more and more power and dictating as much as possible.
Then the other team gets elected and immediately sticks one thumb up their ass and the other in their mouth and rocks back and forth like goddamn rain man for their entire term.
Our team needs to spend every millisecond removing the powers that the previous team took for themselves and giving out liberties back, but we all know that doesn't happen.
He’s doing exactly what he should. Limited, small government. Get out of the way and allow people to live. It’s crazy how well things work out this way.
Initially I thought this was good. Let the local governments govern. But the mandates are wrong. Individuals should be able to make their own decisions.
No Mandates doesn’t mean you can’t wear a mask. It means it’s your choice.
I see a lot of wishful thinking in the comments. He's a RINO with Dominion ties. Of course it's his duty to protect the rights of the state citizens. The right thing to do is to ban any mask mandates or vaccine mandates, period.
If people expect perfect alignment with them from every elected official they will be very disappointed. Even post Great Awakening, the politicians will not always agree with us all the time. We need to select a standard, say 80 percent minimum agreement, for our support and votes and hold them to it.
IIRC, both Texas and FL began the same way. Over time, DeSantis said no mask mandates period or it was up to businesses. Of course, the Rat Kingdom still requires them and probably will until the year 3000. Abbott said no to masks in schools but a federal judge blocked him. It's up to the Texas business as to whether or not masks are required.

Agreed the solution to an overbearing government is less of it, not a different brand.
Well said!!!

Yep, a lot of this was discussed yesterday in a great thread: https://greatawakening.win/p/140Iwbvrdb/x/c/4JINnUm8S4H
Local government is the best government.

All I can do now is hope.
I kind of agree, the fact he didn't want any association with Trump during campaigning sort of made me sus he's an establishment guy
But trump also said he has a very good relationship with youngskin

Strange how no one likes dictators, yet expect "their guy" to dictate. People should be happy the Dems had such a rout.
Nah nah nah, that's not the problem at all.

Bet it exposes the NWO down to the local level in Virginia.
My thoughts exactly. Give 'em enough rope.

He's Carlyle Group (remember 9/11) and bankster to the max. Expect more backstabbing.

Bullseye!

Traitor. They will do and say anything for power.
