This strikes me as public relations disaster, and possibly a looming legal disaster for Facebook, PolitiFact, Climate Feedback and other left-leaning entities that engage in biased “fact checking.”
Such “fact checks” are now shown to be simply an agenda to supress free speech and the open discussion of science by disguising liberal media activism as something supposedly factual, noble, neutral, trustworthy, and based on science.

I've been telling lefty friends this forever. "Fact checker are just opinion checkers." Just read the "fact check" counter arguments. They're so weak.
In many cases, the fact checkers create a weaker version of a meme, insert obvious falsehoods, and then use that meme as an excuse to censor related memes.

Fakebook has algorithms to insert "vaccine information" links when they're mentioned on private pages; lefties don't need to reeeee to their Fakebook overlords crying "someone is thinking for themselves!"
Even worse are the "real fact checkers" like snopes, wikipedia,factcheck.org which are all leftist groups who are doing the exact same thing which then make the leftist think they are factually correct.
