Knowing this, two things may happen; Ghislane has worked the judge and the DS like she is their ally. She doesn't get charged, and she walks away. The only advantage this gives is that she can avoid the media now, but remember, this doesn't mean her mission is done. Or, she does serve some sort of jail time, and she may be extracted herself. Why else would she be acting cheery and making subtle references in court? Remember, she may be one of the ones Q referred to as "cooperating witness", and I think she needed to be part of the plan. We will have to accept the outcome to move to the next phase. Maybe the point of the trial wasn't to sentence her necessarily, maybe it was setup as a session of "discovery" to give us more guidance, and that's all it was (maybe a little session of pants shitting wlth the indictments and resignations for the DS as well).. She had the attention at that point from what happened with Epstein and the sparse references in the news to gather enough interest in the trial.

All the people needed to technically see was the "guilty" verdict. The details beyond that only matter to the operation itself.

It is very hard to charge people with crimes they didn't commit. And the fact that they cooperated with everything says all we need to know.
