I loved John Stamos growing up. He always struck me as a really good guy back in the 90s. But something changed in him. He has given me the creeps for years now.

It’s not uncommon for a drummer to be dealing with foot strains. That would be my guess here.
Drummer here - that is the bass drum leg, assuming he plays right handed which most do. It depends on how he uses the pedal. Heel down or heel up. If heel down, you get issues with the calf. I am heel up so I have never experienced calf injury but I have in the upper thigh. Don't know if there are any pictures of him playing that reveal that.

True. My husband was a pallbearer at a family member's funeral. He's considerably taller than the others and they had to carry the casket up the church stairs. He told me later he thought they were going to drop it. Also told me the damn thing weighed a ton.
