I'm not sure why the obsession with it either.
Plant based burgers are not new, and they're good. We didn't need to create "something more burger like" to try and bring more people to it.
Their attempts to replicate burgers seems a little brain dead.
I like a plant based burger now and then. Like a mushroom burger where all of the ingredients are able to be parsed.
Don't know why we need all these chemicals and Planned Parenthood refuse in our burgers when people had already resolved a flavorful burger substitute that was already good.
Nutritionally, they make no sense, IMHO. They make a lot of sense if your goal is to create a bunch of fat lazy sissy boys and loud-mouthed blue haired land-whales. Consider the following:
Burger King Whopper:
Burger King Impossible Whopper:
Wait. Same amount of sugar, more calories from non-fat source, practically the same total amount of calories.
What's even the point that they're pushing for? Oh, it's the cow-farts.. It's the cow-farts right?
No, it's the Estrogen increase/intake. Have any idea what that does to the Male body? Look it up....it ain't good.
I never understood the cow farts argument. If cows really farted that much, they would have made machines to capture the farts to sell like propane or butane.
My understanding of that meme is that it's meant to poke fun at the "meat has a high carbon footprint!" argument of so-called environmentalists.
Estrogen content.
Guys I know what estrogen does.
My point was, what's the tagline they're pushing for the normies, because estrogen will definitely not be at the center of their marketing push. So I assumed it would be marketed as the "healthy" choice but it's not even that looking at the comparison.
It uses different, high carbon foot print factories that haven't been propagandized.
I was going to say the same thing. The thing that bothered me with the plant-based burgers is that they intentionally tried to market them as replacements for meat and intentionally putting them in the meat section. They taste great and all, but vegetarians aren’t interested in meat and people who eat meat aren’t interested in becoming vegetarians.
I only know one person who doesnt eat meat. My niece cant even stand the sight of meat. She drinks milk and eats cheese but the sight of meat disgusts her. I think most real vegetarians are like this. So they would not even consider something that looks like meat but isnt.
This is an op to normalize eating bugs and other fake shit. It has nothing to do with vegetarians. This is about the control agenda.
And vegans? Cmon, man.
LOL "Try our new meat right here! It's better than the old meat!"
There's a good chunk of the population that has been brainwashed into believing meat is unhealthy and veganism is the noblest, most healthy diet. (I know this because when people find out my BF is vegan, they immediately go, "I wish I could do it," "oh, I don't each much meat," etc.)
It's for them. They'll eat a fast food frankenburget thinking it's healthier. Vegans will eat it but know they're eating junk food.
Yea. I don’t understand the health trend either. I can understand it if someone is doing the vegetarian movement for religious reasons or if it is health reasons, then they should be replacing processed food for unprocessed foods (like salads). But impossible burger and beyond burger… these are just as bad as processed food. It’s not any healthier.
Kfc has fake chicken commercials here in ohio It's weird vegetarians want meat substitute to look like meat
Yup. My daughters like them (the older brands) and enjoy them occasionally. They're pretty good but I prefer real beef. Makes me wonder what they're really putting in the new ones.
Wonder no more, have your daughters watch this:

I think we'll skip it, I have a feeling it's pretty disgusting, but thanks anyway. They won't eat the newer kinds that are being pushed so hard.
Exactly. I like to load the digital coupons onto my grocery membership card and every January the coupons available are all for this bullshit, keto and plant based and diet this and that.
Hey, I love my keto diet! Screw carbs even if they're so delicious.
