My mother has been battling COVID for about 6 days. She's a strong lady but she just called sobbing. She said everything hurts and pain is a 9.
She has Multiple Sclerosis so we always knew that WHEN she got COVID it would be tough. She is unvaxxed. She has been taking Hydroxychloroquine and zinc... And just took some Ivermectin.
Is there anything else we could/should be doing? IV Fluids? Monoclonal Antibodies?
Thanks.
Make sure she gets at least 30 min of direct sunlight daily. Don't forget to take Vitamin D3, too. Take quercetin to help absorb the zinc.
Monoclonal antibodies are beneficial, from what I understand (and why they deny them in some places). I'm sorry for her pain. (Hug)
according to Dr Ardis 10,000 units of CC a day also add vitamin B, Benadryl is another but make sure she is not going to overdose.
Fluids for sure, seems I saw a study saying ivermectin helped slow demyelination. My wife had it and Mets to bone cervical cancer, grass greatly reduced her pain and tremors.Good luck. Her pain was less if she was well hydrated. We put a feeding tube in after she lost her swallow. Her pain was worse if she refused hydration
Everyone I've heard from that was treated with the monoclonal antibodies, has said they worked very well.
Also, if it's any consolation, my brother's cousin-in-law is an adult with MS, who nearly died after she was vaccinated. She ended up in the hospital for at least a week and it was very rough for her.
I guess my point is don't second guess not getting the shot.
STAY HYDRATED
Epsom salt baths helped tremendously. I was taking like 4 baths a day. Usually when ibuprofen was wearing off. The body aches were relentless and my back was killing me. The baths helped relieve the pain and discomfort so much. Hope your mom feels better.
I have read multiple stories of people with MS whose symptoms subsided with a carnivore diet.
Does your Mom have any other worsening symptom of MS, for example, weakness on one side, difficulty walking, worsening numbness?
Any systemic infection (such as viral infection) can trigger an MS attack. Or make pre-existing symptoms worse. The pain/ sensory symptoms are the hardest to figure out if they're attacks or worsening of pre-existing symptoms. However increasing numbness especially in most limbs and the trunk suggests a spinal cord attack of MS, as does difficulty walking or weakness of one or more limbs.
If likely an attack, perhaps either OUTPATIENT (not inpatient!) or even HOME infusion of intravenous steroids (such as Solumedrol) may help, as ordered by her neurologist. Im sure she has a neurologist who diagnosed and is treating her MS.
Some protocols for MS attacks use large doses of tablet steroids - but be prepared for her to take large numbers of tables for the first few days.
With steroids proton pump inhibitors or any stomach acid-reducing medication is usually prescribed. Should also increase Calcium + Vitamin D use while on steroids. Some people get a boost of energy with large steroid doses, which is probably not a bad thing if you're feeling poorly from illness.
Someone suggested Ibuprofen in large doses here. Be careful not to go over 800 mg on a single a dose, always take NSAIDs (Ibuprofen, Naproxen) with food, and never take such large doses more than a few days. Watch for stomach lining irritation (gastritis).
Some of the non-traditional anti seizure medications such as Gabapentin and Levetiracetam are used for increasing pain from MS - these have excellent side effects profiles, usually minimal except for potential drowsiness.
Not medical advice, but I did treat MS.
Very helpful.
lots of vit C and D
Look into ::
L Lysine / Quercetin / Vit D / C
Is she following the Zelenko Protocol or the IFLACC protocol with Vitamin D, C, zin, Quercitin? You might try NAC too. Swanson vitamins still has NAC and you can pay extra shipping and get all vitamins and minerals next day. Also try nebulizing food grade hydrogen peroxide 3% mixed with normal saline. You can find all the info on line through a DuckDuckGo search, since I am not a doctor. Also melatonin at bedtime, benadryl and lactoferon have been found to be helpful. You will have to be sure the medications she is taking for MS are compatible with the above. Check with her doctor or research yourself. She could also schedule an appointment via Tele Health with Frontline Doctors, if her doctor is unhelpful. They are thorough in their questionnaire and take a medical history when talking with you. My husband, who has renal disease, and I found them to be helpful, knowledgeable and displayed confidence in knowing what they were prescribing. Keep in mind monoclonal antibodies are EUA just like the Covid shot and made from aborted fetal tissue. Someone my husband knows had Covid with lung involvement and on oxygen. He took the monoclonal antibodies and they worked. He was taking everything else: Vitamin C, D, zinc, quercitin.
No advise to add but I will say some prayers for your mom.
Thank you.
https://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/1759091416651511 seems to suggest zinc helps. https://www.nationalmssociety.org/About-the-Society/News/Antihistamine-Shows-Evidence-of-Stimulating-Myelin says antihistamines might work with repair.
That being said, I'm not a doctor. I do not know much about that as I've only concerned myself with the s protein's interaction with the RAS. The second article says it needs more numbers, regardless.
Here is the link to the FLCCC treatment protocol:

Vit D. Zinc. Quercetin. Vit. C. Easy to do if she doesn't want to take handfuls of supplements to day if you buy the all in one Dr. Zelenko protocol. Science on it at his website - well documented speeding of healing from any RNA viruses, prevents getting sick too.
For the pain, if she's able to take Tylenol, tell her to take 2 of the Rapid Release Tylenol pills in the morning and 2 more a half hour before going to bed. Taking vitamin D and C certainly won't hurt anything either.
My gma went to urgent care and got a steroid shot and they sent her home with ivermectin and antibiotics. She got better pretty fast
Consider nebulizing. Thread below. https://communities.win/c/GreatAwakening/p/140cbVkN65/when-vitamins-and-ivm-dont-seem-/c
How's your mom doing? Hope everything is good.
Doing great. She ended up with Pneumonia COVID. But she took all the things. Ivermectin, Querctin, Zinc, Hydroxychloroquine, Vitamin D and C, NAC, etc. She used a nebulizer with hydrogen peroxide and it cleared up in a week.
Thank God. Great news. I'm glad that the information on the protocols/treatments that actually work became public.
Thank you for following up!
There's still good people in this world!
Over the counter Ibuprophen can be taken 4 pills at one time and they say it is the equivalent of a "real Pain Pill". Big glasses of water with 1/4 tsp of of salt added. (there is a reason saline is used to hydrate people) Make sure she gets one 325 aspirin per day. Dehydrated people do hurt much more. Is anyone able to assist her getting in and out of the tub? If you get a couple packages of Epsom Salts, use one whole package in a hot bath (add more hot water as she can take) Get the E S dissolved before she gets in. Very strong hot epsom salts soak for a minimum of 15 minutes, draws an incredible amount of pain out of the body. And the maganesium really helps with sleep. Guarantee that if she pushes vite C, like 4000mg per day, she will feel better next morning. Bless her heart. If she'd been vaxxed, and with ms, she would be very much worse right now.
For pain: Bromelain (buy online) is an herb that strongly counters inflammation (joint pain, aches) as well as ibuprofen. Add Ashwaganda and willow bark for extra pain killing effect and antiviral action.
Bromelain is a prototypical enzyme, not an herb, but it does counter inflammation.
Covid creates autoantibodies just like in MS.
They are now saying MS and other autoimmune diseases are caused by viruses like Epstein Barr.
So Covid infection increased her autoantibodies that attack her muscles now this time, I know the virus mimics a similar protein in the body, chondroitin, which is found in joints and her nerves. It’s all over the body.so the immune system confuses the virus and instead attacks the body.
Pain is the number one symptom of omicron.
Fish oil will reduce inflammation and autoantibodies
Read the study it’s on MS and fish oil.

I used Nebulizer with .9% saline diluting 3% food grade hydrogen peroxide down to a 1% mix, put it in nebulizer with 2 drops of ligols Iodine/iodide solution, used for 15 minutes 3 times a day, took 100mg zinc with 2 tabs quercetin, took NAC 500mg, Vit D3, C, magnesium, Colustrum ( lacto ferrin) , and finally IVM, & Benadryl, 1 week out better than ever! Im not a Dr. I just read everything I can to help my Frens!
If the hospital becomes necessary be prepared to fight for your mother.

I will pray for her and your family too.
Monoclonal Antibodies worked for all the people I know that used it.
