I have said here before how at odds it makes me feel rooting for Rogers now being a viking fan. Its hard to break old patterns as I have been programmed to hate the packers for almost 50 years. Having said what he has said is amazing. I am a huge Rogers fan now and do not care who knows. The 81 mil quote was the final straw.
Yeah, I haven't really watched any games in full in a couple of years now but I still keep up with the team. Doesn't help that we had Adam Gase for 2 years and our drafting seems to be garbage whether it's Macagnan for 5 years, Idzik botching 12+ picks, etc 🙄
Kyrie Irving same thing, some dickbag reporter was all over his ass yesterday about the vax and Kyrie was great in his reply. Never liked the guy but got respect for him sticking to his beliefs and not caving in.
Well LeBron wouldn't let the Lakers trade Kuzma for the longest time even though he's not very good. Didn't get angry with him on the court despite not being very good and despite being a dick to everyone else. Then Kuzma started dying his hair and dressing all feminine and even got a couple of LeBron's tattoos tattooed onto himself. Also faggy game-to-game instances like LeBron walking off the court after a win, to the bench, straight to Kuzma, who gets up and gets nose-to-nose with LeBron and they're staring into each other's eyes as Kuzma mimes placing a crown on LeBron's head.
Wouldn't surprise me at all about LeBron, either. I've seen him show up to arenas with like a regular suit top, but with short shorts and literally carrying a purse.
I guess some of the pro athletes who went to college actually got some education. Most have vanilla degrees and apparently can't think critically or read.
Rogers is doing the minimum any citizen should do. He is speaking out.
Yeah, but clearly there are individual players that aren't part of the problem. Same as Hollywood. Politicians. Etc. You can like and root for individual players. I get that still supports the sport that's Commie infested, but change has to begin somewhere. Aaron speaking out helps change opinions and beliefs and gives others in the sport the courage to speak out.
I’d just rather not give my time or money to leagues that absolutely detest everything I stand for, that’s the change that will matter. Sports leagues don’t care about their fans or players, they care about the bottom line. The majority of players are cowards and love sucking the tit of their league to line their pockets, similarly to doctors. Nothing will change unless they lose more money, and as far as I’m concerned this could be controlled opposition for optics to try and win viewership back.
They showed their hand and intentions over the last few years. They didn’t fire anyone over the SJW shit, they’re all still there and would probably do it again given the opportunity. Did Rogers speak out about all the race baiting social justice shit they were pushing or all the other controversial bullshit? Because the players were awfully silent then when the country was getting degraded game after game by their teammates. The league doesn’t identify you as their ideal target anymore, fren. I’d even go as far to say if they could replace you with an SJW they absolutely would, they do not value you at all. Let them rot.
That’s not what I’m saying. I also agree there can be good people in a corrupt organization. You bring up a good question though. If those people are aware of the corruption and continue to engage in said corruption, are they still good people?
I treat athletes differently than actors. If you play a sport your entire life and are very skilled at it, it is more than just a game. If you work your ass off training your entire life to play professionally. Then you get there and there are some bad people playing the same sport as you and they are doing bad things. I don't think that means you have to quit playing.
Personally, I don't think anywhere near a majority of pro athletes are evil. I think most of them are slaves to their career path. Many don't make the money like Aaron Rogers. They will do what they are told, most took the jab, most abides by what they are told not to talk about (political correctness). This has gotten worse over the years. If these are the worst things they see and have to do, I don't blame them.
If they witness an even darker side that preys on children, that is a different story. If you witness that and learn that the majority of owners or high level names are involved, yes you should quit. But, I doubt they see this side of people, and I am not certain a majority of the owners are involved in shit like that either.
But, simple corruption, I don't think one has to give up their career for that.
I had a conversation with my son's baseball hitting coach, he played in the minors for 5 years and had a good average. He said he never cheated on his wife, while many players went around doing that sort of thing, he would always have a hotel roommate from the team that was a strong Christian as well. That way he would avoid temptation. While cheating was around him, I don't fault him for not quitting.
I appreciate the response and thanks for sharing your point of view! I think where we’re going to disagree is that I view professional athletes more similarly to actors. Actors would feel the same way regarding investing their time and efforts into a craft to earn a living. Many actors also are not wealthy, similarly to minor league players and lower.
I absolutely agree with your view in that overall a majority of players have no affiliation with the dark side of it all, outside of playing in their league. Televised sports are a very small minority of the overall profession and even then I’m sure that some know not what they do, hopefully lol. This is why my qualms are with the leagues themselves and their corruption and influence.
A good example of this is how the league disrespect their country, and continue to do so with their covid restrictions. Sports owners specifically defending China’s actions against the Uighurs. After learning what I have over the last few years, I don’t think it’s a coincidence that areas that host the super bowl are correlated to spikes in human trafficking arrests during that period.
Yes, you know you have a problem when a sports owner in NBA, Houston Rockets I believe attacked support of China by NBA and he was quickly dealt with and shut up.
I don't doubt many of the owners and some of the more high profile players are involved in some evil shit. I think wealth breeds this kind of evil. Not all wealthy will succumb to it, but many do.
What struck me about Rogers statement was calling out big tech for not censoring pedophiles. This isn't a topic someone would bring up if they didn't know what we know.
I used to big a big sports fan, would watch every NFL game, did fantasy football, and other football related pools. I quit watching most of it, although I still watch my local hockey team.
We probably agree more than we think, I guess my excitement about Rogers is more based in high profile figure speaking about subjects that we speak about. While I normally don't give a shit what a celebrity says, when they speak for us, I feel it is important for normies, b/c these are the people they will listen to.
Yeah this thread confuses me. Earlier all the threads were talking about how cucked sports are in general and now suddenly people love the packers and the NBA
Let's get this straight once and for all. Rogers is NOT one of us...unless you enjoy eating babies. He is controlled to red pill the public because of the deal that was struck. In the end he will go to GITMO for life for what he has done to children. You faggots need to understand the role people are playing in this movie. ROGERS will NEVER be one of US.
who said anything about looking up to them? Saying he is one of us is a far stretch from looking up to him. Are you just here to be some kind of weak faggoty troll?

I was the same way about Brady, being a colts fan, you get used to it
I'm a jets fan and was glad to see him and gronk win without belicheck at such an old age for a QB
Ah a fellow Jets fan. Got to see them lose in person to the bucs this year. Helluva game though.
Yeah, I haven't really watched any games in full in a couple of years now but I still keep up with the team. Doesn't help that we had Adam Gase for 2 years and our drafting seems to be garbage whether it's Macagnan for 5 years, Idzik botching 12+ picks, etc 🙄
Idk about Brady. He kisses his kids on the mouth lol. Plus he said his wife does some ritual before his games or something. He said she was a witch !
He did say this, plus she was VS model. Have to be careful trusting her.
I feel the same way about Blake Shelton and Gwen Stephani though. She oozes cabal witch to me.
Sad these guys get tied up with these witches.
You're high
I wish

I think he might be a double agent tasked with making conspiracy realists look stupid. He has a freemason or illuminati (forgot which) tattoo.
Plus, along with Kyle Kuzma, I think he's one of the dudes LeBron was definitely banging out for a time.
Ooo please do tell, I hadnt heard that James was a closet gay

As a former Vikings fan (no more pro sports), I can see your quandary, I see him as a man first and not the player of a division rival on this issue.
Former Lions fan here. Now a fan of nobody since the NFL went full woke.
Im with ya on Rogers.
They want us divided even amongst the bread and circuses. Go Bucs!
Anon Rogers.
John Stockton is also. Watched an interview with him yesterday and he knew it all
good to hear about him. Always admired how he played ball.
Yeah, me too. Here’s a link to it if you’re interested.

Multimillion dollar athletes with a legacy to forge Don’t like people playing with their bodies and livelihoods.
I’m sure Lebron disagrees.
One of us! One of us!
He was always my fav as a Packer's fan, that must be why, he is one of us.
Throwing $200 on the packers to cover spread tomorrow just for this!
Lifelong Bears fan. Go Pack Go!?
I guess some of the pro athletes who went to college actually got some education. Most have vanilla degrees and apparently can't think critically or read.

Way to get on board Mr. Rogers.
I’m all in on the Packers now! Joined their Fakebook cheeseheads page and all. Go pack go!!
Who let him out of his cage?

Y’all still care about pro sports after everything they did? Damn...

How does this post promote sports at all? This is someone with a massive platform speaking truth. That’s all
Read the comments on the post.
no I dont watch the nfl, doesnt mean there cannot be a good person in it.

In 1963 the NFL approached JFK and asked for a sports entertainment license. It was granted. Many blogs out about how set up the NFL is.

you have proof or just your fantasy handshake.
Anyone who looks up to these so called sports heroes are fools. They are part of the crimes against humanity.

Walking off the field yesterday he holds up the devil horn symbol. Nice touch.
I wouldn't know I don't watch sportsball, apparently you do
LOL, I didn't watch any of it. Jumping to conclusions... It was a photo I came across.
