I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I dont think we would be here if women hadn't been convinced that being a wage slave is empowering. when you work a 9-5, most women literally dont have the energy to care if their kids are being indoctrinated, and that was intentional. Not to mention, the women that work are supporting those that are married to the government and have 10 kids by 10 men.
It's a fairly straightforward and accepted opinion here. And you're the top comment as I read it.
Economically, especially in lower income tiers, getting half the income of 10 different men is much more lucrative than trying to get one man's income to cover for 10 kids. May God bless those women who never fell for the government-supported economic push to be immoral.
Feminism, regardless of the way it's been dressed up and presented, was always destructive to our families and to society in general.
That logic doesn't exist tho. They don't get half the pay of 10 dudes. They get 0 pay from 10 dudes because they aren't around long enough to drag them through court. My sister's baby daddy was a dj. When things were on the upward trend things were fine. Got paid big bucks to work new clubs and shit every week. Did party gigs on weekends etc. The moment that dried up she took him to court and was awarded nothing because he has no legal income to garnesh. The only reason why she was able to drag him through court was because he actually wanted to help raise the kids. He wanted to be a good dad. That is what's lacking in the hood for the most part. Everyone here with preconceived notions on welfare queens and deadbeat dads should do themselves a favor and try having a conversation with these types of people. You'll learn what blind spots you have. None of these hoes are living nicely on section 8. The ones you see doing well are second and third generation that are living on mom's gov handouts while working to escape the hood.
Every state has a different implementation of the child support laws. In California at least, the enforcement can vary wildly from one county to another (including wage garnishments without proof of service). My example was overly simplistic, to be sure. But regardless of the details, in strictly economic terms, the government provides many short term incentives that encourage divorce and out-of-wedlock births. My complaint is about the perverse structure of government incentives, not so much the individuals whose behavior is often shaped by them. I think it negatively affects working class and middle class as well, not just welfare recipients.
Not with us anons, male or female. And of course, the biggest push for this was during a World War. Damn warmongers- Jesus said, blessed are the peacemakers.
Well I went on Twitter and read through the posts to put things into contacts it is about Maya Angelou's life. That doesn't make the sexual questions okay.
So it's not as if they're just asking sex questions in math class. This really happened to Maya. It still doesn't make it an appropriate School topic.
This is a touchy subject because children of all ages get molested and maybe if we can educate them as to what is out there we can better protect them.
The other one I have beef with is the promotion of sugar eating, which verges on the ridiculous and signals the promotion of corporate greed. Ten year olds are basically instructed to buy thousands of jellybeans without consequence, because it is only a math exercise. Why is math at this age taught by fat individuals that are deadly afraid of catching colds? They frequently call in sick with shingles or something too. So, there is a high turnover of individuals teaching basic maths to vulnerable and suggestible kids, who are learning to spend their pocket money buying candy.
The whole system is disgusting.
From a home-shooling perspective:Teaching math is a dynamic that all parents must incorporate into their households. Boys especially, take to conversations about calculus or algebra because they want to build flying model aircraft or fit new wheels on their skatboard. Girls tend to gravitate to efficient book-keeping and tables. Either needs real-world applications, not ideological or corporate ones. Boys thrive on theoretical approaches that can yield working programs, high-tech toys: How does a lift.drag ratio work on this aeroplane/surfboard fin etc. While Girls tend to try systems to improve lifestyle or save for the future. Their interest can be peaked by collecting and evaluating worth, or learning art history that offers a window into the past. What are the political and economical implications of Liberty?
Her background and the obstacles she overcame to become a famous poet and civil rights figure is a big deal in literature. Her rape is a well-known piece of her story and pretty much required knowledge when studying her work.
It appears that this assignment is simply combining facts the students needed to know about Maya Angelou's background with their math homework. Which, out of context, looks more horrifying than what it is.
Yes, but whatever you think of her, a math class and math homework is a poor frame of reference in which to consider and discuss Maya Angelou's contributions to society.
Want to bet the school is small enough that the English teacher and the math teacher are the same person?
I doubt it’s a math worksheet that randomly teaches you about Angelou’s sexual assault. It’s more likely a math sheet that is referencing material they’re currently learning in another class.
I guess we'd have to be there. Nothing should be condemned without context. There's a place for chess-boxing and other cross-studies, but ... it's an unusual mix. I don't blame the parents for at least questioning it.
The parents would probably have context, but the parents didn’t post this. Some dude posted a picture of a piece of homework his wife saw when she was tutoring a student from that district. That’s about as far away from useful context as we can get.
Jenny had to stay after class for asking too many questions about multiplication tables. Which of the following should she perform for her teacher to get on his good side?

I hope that's a hoax and those aren't real questions
What grade is this? There is absolutely no reason for those types of questions. I can't wait until the day this filth is exterminated. Ridiculous.
I'm guessing 7th or 8th grade.
Based on the math problems I would say you are right. Its just so disgusting.
Feel sad for the young people these days. Too much pushing these kinds of thoughts on them. Why?
Well I went on Twitter and read through the posts to put things into contacts it is about Maya Angelou's life. That doesn't make the sexual questions okay.

Unbelievable.
OMG, who wrote those questions. That is totally unacceptable. How devious.
The number sets are not all correct. For the first equation, yes... but only one set of numbers satisfies both requirements.

I'm guessing most of you aren't familiar with Maya Angelou's work.
These questions are referencing her life, in which she was sexually abused by her mother's boyfriend as a child and later worked as an exotic dancer.

Well, this is the Troy R-3 school district?
That’s in Troy, Missouri.
Population? Around 12,000 people.
Want to bet the school is small enough that the English teacher and the math teacher are the same person?

I wonder if she mentioned it to the parent. As his tutor, would she be in contact with the parents? Who knows.
I'm making the right decision not having kids.
Pretty soon just sending your children to public school will be considered abuse, then the CPS will steal your children.
Jenny had to stay after class for asking too many questions about multiplication tables. Which of the following should she perform for her teacher to get on his good side?
a. Masturbation
b. Fellatio
c. Analingus
d. Reverse cowgirl
e. All of the above
