The video I saw showed five students, four males in the back row behind DeSantis and one female in front of them. The female took her mask off first, a second quicker than one of the males who did the same, followed almost immediately by a second male. The two other males kept their masks on.

Well he's partly wrong... The masks are causing further health issues for most.
I think this was planned to look like a bad photo op for DeSantis, with all the students in masks while he spoke. He nipped it in the bud.
