The more they repeat the same lines, the more you can tell they are trying to internalize what they've been told, hoping it will somehow make it more true.
When they start chanting the same thing over and over again, like a mantra, you know they are simply trying to repair the damage done to the brainwashing program by the surplus overflow of redpills going around at the moment.
If the program starts to rip and tear, it confirms their worst fears about themselves -- that they are fucking stupid as hell, oh and they're also racist, sexist, and every other ist they have called the ones they've been told to hate by their corporate abusers.
Just keep that in mind the next time you are there. Read their body language, and notice when they start to look unhinged and desperate, like a panicked dog backed in a corner or someone in the back of a police cruiser swearing up and down the blood they are covered in is ketchup.
Don't laugh at them, even though it is kinda funny. Pray for them. Pray for your enemies, because, likely, no one else is willing to.
I use the same repetition tactic on myself. I was programed to care WAAY too much about what others think of me. I repeat to myself "I don't give a fuck what they think" all the time... Helps that they've wanted us all dead, so it's easier to see them as the "enemy;" which that assumption kills most - if not all - respect I had for their opinions.. The big problem with me seeing them as the enemy is that I don't know who THEY are, so I'm on the hyper defensive with everyone... It's a balance I have yet to learn.
No. You can find conservatives who employ conservatives. Give your employer the courtesy of a polite, respectful explanation that you come to work to work, and not have to be assaulted with the odd politics of your co-workers. In my experience the boss will make politics off limits on the job.
This. God blessed me with a based company to work at. Family business. Doing well.
Early on someone got sick. Before people knew much of what was going on, we wore masks for maybe 10 min the next day. Even then we collectively said this is stupid and didn't wear one since.
Find good people. You may have to move. If so, then move. I've done it over a dozen times in my life. It always gets you anxious right at first, then excited.
You made a decision, you can debate the merits of it all day, but I’d say to look forward and keep moving.
If there is a next time and you encounter comments like that co-worker … speak your mind. No need to be harsh or mean, but counter with a very pointed response that will assert your strength.
Only time will tell. Probably a good idea, but you'll never know how the other choice would turn out in the long run, because you only get one shot.
Surrounding yourself with like-minded intelligent people is a great ideal. But it's hard to isolate forever. Even Christ had stupid people catch up with him.
So tolerance of dummies is a good quality, but don't punish yourself for no reason. Your heart will tell you.
Did you even try talking to them about it? Let them know that other perspectives exist than the NPC globohomo narrative? You'd be surprised how powerful a small logic question when posed can really get their gears working later. Asking questions forces them to answer, sometimes they eventually find their way out of the miasma.
On the other hand. It is Florida, they are massively against the culture. Leave and watch them bleed out over the next 2 years. They will be gone by year 3, or they will be the fly trap for all the shitty people you don't want to run into at the new cool gym.
I am often surprised at how often people will choose shit though. I would work out that anger else were. :)
Good point about the illegal fed felony race discrimination - file a complaint at justice.gov under racial discrimination, and the DOJ will send a letter. But remember, working there while this happens can be problematic.
Nope.

I've never regretted a move.
Follow what u/RealCleanUpPhilly says.
If the situation doesn't change, or the boss is against you, keep showing up to get a paycheck but find another job immediately.
The goal is to ruin your life, don't let them.
Not one bit.
Orlando is where a lot of leftists swarm when they come to Florida. Same with west Tampa and West Palm Beach area.
Personally if they keep talking about it on a daily basis I would laugh in their faces and confront them with some red pill nuggets.
But the decision to walk away from a job that starts to interfere with your focus on the job is a good decision.

You will feel 1700% better :)
If that is where you want to be then stay the course. Don’t let them define your path.

Proud of you!!!
Stand your ground soldier! Don’t be a snowflake

No, you did the right thing. I've suffered in enough toxic workplaces to look back and know I would have been better off quitting on day one.

Sounds like it would be Planet Fitness.
