The sanctions would prohibit travel and freeze any assets held in Russia but not prevent high-level talks if they are planned, Bloomberg reported.
Russia also sanctioned Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, Joint Chiefs Chairman Mark Milley, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, press secretary Jen Psaki, CIA Director William Burns and other economic and financial officials.
Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and President Biden's son, Hunter Biden, were also included, but both do not currently serve in the U.S. government.
Because they are well known international criminals. He doesn't need a US courtroom to determine that, it is as plain as the nose on their face. Brilliant move by Putin & yes they will not be able to access their money OR anything else they have there or in Ukraine. (Like their weapons )

That would make sense considering that the Ukraine's entry to NATO was denied on the grounds that it was already occupied and NATO entry would trigger military actions as they move to defend their new State.
I think it’s worth pointing out that these sanctions are against (criminal) INDIVIDUALS as opposed to the (innocent) civilians of entire COUNTRIES.
Why target an entire nation that has nothing to do with anything, and make them suffer for the crimes of a few bad leaders? Go after the bad apples.
