But yes, in general, RRN reads more like fan fiction than news reporting, and I haven’t seen any evidence of the things they write existing for more than entertainment value. I don’t think many people around here take it at face value.

If any one individual knew how the whole thing worked, it would probably be a compartmentalization disaster if not a Constitutional crisis.
An EBS has as much power as a nuclear bomb going off. Imagine how much chaos you can cause from a stringer of "aliens are invading, they can look like anyone" and "An anthrax cloud has been dispersed over North America."
Panicky People are the most dangerous part of any disaster or emergency. The toilet paper disaster in 2020 should demonstrate that reality.
