It makes sense for China to continue buying crude oil and gas from Russia.
I think the point by the author is to provide an example of just how feckless Joe and his administration are. We know this. We also know the Biden family is 100% compromised by China, and yet here we are. Joe is the current Resident.
It shows how arrogant the west is. Both the leaders and normies. I reckon only 5% of the US population understands the implications of the Bric nations moving to trading oil for gold.
It is necessary for the western economy to implode both for a better economic system and for the normies to stop watching endless entertainment.
Our system is so corrupt and screwed up. We cannot even return to a gold standard without implosion because of how overinflated everything is. Most dumbass boomers don’t even understand their real estate and stocks are far more inflated than actually appreciated.

Most of the Gulf Coast LNG goes to Chinuh. They are the beneficial owners of the massive field off Louisiana. A pickling of Chinuh ninny would occur if that terminal developed a hiccup. It would force their bulk carriers to reposition to a Russian port. How many LNG deep water ports does Russia have that are 365 ice free? There are no pipelines across Russia into Chinuh. How many of the bulk carriers of sanctioning countries would turn their AIS off and be the high seas brokers?
And will they do it in the rubles Putin wants, probably. Biden’s sanctions aren’t going to hurt Putin very much. There will just be a switch as to who they buy and sell to.
