Even before this woke shit turned prominent circa 2015, they celebrate so much on pagan beliefs such as Easter being a bunny day, halloween as a spooky day, and christmas as a santa day.
When I was like 4 and I watched playhouse Disney, they always emphasize on magic. They like telling that witches are good, dragons are good, and sorcery is fun. They will even condition children to say magic words and stuff.
My grandmother was the same about Madonna. I thought "lighten up old lady, it's just marketing nonsense." I wish I could talk to her now. :(
Pleasure Island and The Coachman are literally human trafficking in Pinocchio...
Yes, they were, and those things were in the movie as warnings... not as anything good.
Yeah, that's actually very profound.
Go to school or be a mule. (I.E. only able to make a living by selling your labor)
I guess that's when schools did something for you.
When you cancel your subscription and select "Other" there is no text box to explain why you are leaving.
It sounds like they know why you're leaving.
I was into cable television that time. What made me out of disney was when we had mo more cable tv
Yep and these movies are such that a child will watch them over and over again, allowing disney to get their wicked subliminal message pounded into their heads.
I always thought that the song from "Aladdin", I think it's called "A Wonderful World", was pretty euphemistic as if singing about sex.
Over at least the last ten years dozens of park employees have been busted for sex crimes related to kids. Look into Disney College Intern rape culture. This is real. They invite college-age kids from all over the world. Girls get raped and try to report it to Disney and HR unleashes on them, calling them whores and teases and victim blaming. I know someone this happened to....sick and fucked up. They let these people come here and do whatever horrible shit they want. Yes. Disney is evil as fuck.
The Disney Story from outcast Payseur family members. There's a ton of info on their site and well worth the rabbit hole it's going to lead you down... feel free to click around and dig. It's pretty amazing.
Enjoy!
At first, Gay Day at Disney World was something that was coordinated among the gay community. But when Disney officially started hosting Gay Days out in the open, I knew that was the real Beginning of the End for them.
That is real weird isn't it? And totally unnecessary. No one stopped gay people going to the parks. Why make a day about it?
When Walt was alive Disney was as family friendly as you could get. It cannot be coincidence that it has been turned into what it is today by the anti morals crowd.
It's not a coincidence, we were tricked back then too.
u/Cavetoad_1776 has a great resource in his comment.
I have a parental block on Disney and the likes. When my nieces and nephews come over, I have dvds of old cartoons that we loved as kids. They always asked their parents to watch those at home. Not on TV, so back to uncle Jeff they go! Now, my great nieces and nephews are doing the same. I also have 4 dogs and 2.5 acres for them to play on. They love their uncle!
Did you notice that there was zero evidence of a Christmas tree being delivered to the White House as in past years, or tour of the Christmas decor by Jill Biden. No trick or treat. No pardon of the Thanksgiving Turkey. Is there going to be an Easter Egg hunt? Is there even a White House?
What? https://thehill.com/blogs/in-the-know/in-the-know/582685-jill-biden-welcomes-white-house-christmas-tree/amp/
I stand corrected. Thanks, I never saw that.
That's the equivalent of not being able to play COD Zombies with magic on because the Pack-A-Punch is satanic.
That isn't Disney, that's just normal American culture
Certain "religious holidays" also have non-religious components that nearly everyone enjoys even if they're also religious folk
Look at the lyrics to Frozen's "Let it Go"
If this doesn't send up red flags, I don't know what will. It is 100% indoctrination. It encourages kids to turn away from their parents and do whatever they want to do, consequences, responsibilities, and morals be damned.
The snow glows white on the mountain tonight
Not a footprint to be seen
A kingdom of isolation
And it looks like I'm the queen
The wind is howling like this swirling storm inside
Couldn't keep it in, heaven knows I've tried
Don't let them in, don't let them see
Be the good girl you always have to be
Conceal, don't feel, don't let them know
Well, now they know
Let it go, let it go
Can't hold it back anymore
Let it go, let it go
Turn away and slam the door Promotes keeping barriers with your family.
I don't care what they're going to say Defiance disguised as apathy.
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
It's funny how some distance makes everything seem small Advises running away.
And the fears that once controlled me can't get to me at all Disregard consequences and responsibility.
It's time to see what I can do Rules?
To test the limits and break through What rules?
No right, no wrong, no rules for me Fuck the rules!
I'm free It's not freedom to trade the perception of consequences for worship of the Self. It's simply shifting control over you to a more destructive taskmaster.
Let it go, let it go
I am one with the wind and sky
Let it go, let it go
You'll never see me cry
Here I stand and here I stay
Let the storm rage on
My power flurries through the air into the ground
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I'm never going back, the past is in the past Break off all connections with them. Block them out of your social media and ignore them
Let it go, let it go
When I'll rise like the break of dawn The Dawn Star, Lucifer, Son of the Morning.
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone Kill your old self; do nothing that "other" person would have done.
Here I stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway Tell yourself you love being alone.
Nice analysis. I never did like that song. Idina Menzel's voice grates like nails on a blackboard.
"I See the Light" from Tangled is much better. Shoot, that whole movie was much better than Frozen.
Their schtick has always been about traumatizing children. Even going back to the classics. Bambi: no dad, mom dies in a fire. Snow white: orphan with evil step mom. Dumbo: everything about it.
CHILDREN IN PERIL is a common theme not only of disney cartoons and movies but Spielberg and other films too.
Jurassic Park is among the best ones ever done, and the kids are in near-constant danger and fear. E.g., the boy who gets chased down a tree by a driverless Jeep while evading the T. rex trying to eat him later survives being electrocuted by a fence. Parents: nowhere to be seen.
Children in Peril has been the theme of "fairy tales" and other stories meant for children for centuries.
These stories were intended to teach the young ones that there was great danger in the world and that they must listen to their families when warnings are given.
But in so many of the same stories, the children also learn how to handle the dangers and find their courage. This prepares them for living as adults in a dangerous world.
There are no parents in these stories because otherwise, the kids could just rely on them and wouldn't be pushed into figuring it out themselves.
It's just storytelling. This sort of thing is often called a "cautionary tale." And yes, Jurassic Park is another good example.
Stick your infant in its cradle up in a tree! That way, when the wind blows the thing out of there, the heavy wooden cradle will smash into the ground below, along with that poor little deeply traumatized baby you were supposed to love and protect instead!!!
Au contraire my friend....you allowed them do do this. You HAD to have your ESPN, Hulu. You HAD to watch your star warts.
Stare at the water long enough Narcissus and drown in bad decisions.
An older friend from church once said that Disney was just not the same anymore, especially with the movie "Escape to Witch Mountain". At the time I just shrugged it off and thought she was exaggerating things, but she was right. Think about it, projected film is nothing more than Light, Satan is an angel of Light. It pains me to think about it. The implications are horrifying. Jesus help us all.
Maybe you're reading too much into things?
One might argue that you aren't reading into it enough.
There's a lot of videos and blogs on this subject. It's been discussed for a long time. I think you're well suited for a digging expedition!

When I grew up I wasn't allowed to play with He-Man, Gremlins, GI JOE etc...
They were all demonic and evil according to the adults in my life.
Now, looking back, I realize they were all fucking insane.
Yea, I wasn't able to play anything with magic, violence, or evil, but somehow Disney was ok.
Then everyone wondered why I liked metal.
I thought that link was going to be some explosive expose' and was getting all popcorned up...
My Disappointment Is Immeasurable And My Day Is Ruined
Nope, 9/10 times its just a goofy reaction clip unless stated otherwise.
But check out u/Cavetoad_1776's comment, and I wouldn't be surprised if u/Zeitreise makes a Disney infograph with all the junk floating to the top these days.
