IMO, the best TV show eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeever was "Fringe" starring Joshua Jackson and John Noble. It was possibly the biggest 'reveal' in weekly red pills ever seen on TV. Haven't been into TV shows since then - nothing comes close to the genius of that show in my view.
