Good question. CAN Twitter turn a profit, without massive subsidy? I was going to post the recent Sundance column here -- which describes WHY Twitter cannot break even, much less turn a profit -- but you already did so because the link is in the excellent CTH article you provided.

Hmmm? What is Musk connected to? - Starlink internet and SpaceX that has DoD contracts. Now Musk wants a foothold in social media. Then there is Neuralink and the Boring Company that digs tunnels. Is it just me, or does anyone else have a few questions about what exactly are Musk's intentions?

What musk did was expose that the board doesn’t have its investors best interest in mind. He had no plans in buying twitter.

He wouldn't be leaving if there was not already a conflict between him and the rest of the board.
It's possible that Dorsey and Musk are only doing it because to clean house and make it more efficient for the cabal, because the cabal is going to lose their huge mouthpiece when Truth Social comes out and they need at least one platform to push their propaganda.
And seems like twitter is run on gov servers so when Trump goes back in again, twitter can't use anymore??
