Eggs used to be a dime each. Now 30 cents.
Still among the most nutritious and cheapest foods available.

Lidl is pretty great in a lot of things. I. Spain I was able to get like 15 cent beers there and other super cheap stuff.
But the US version still has good deals on a lot of stuff.

Yes, if the meat or eggs are cooked it kills the virus. It amazes me that it isn’t an option to direct the meat and eggs into soup production or some other pre-cooked product. That makes more sense then just killing and disposing them.
If you look back over the last two years there have been numerous efforts to create consumer panic buying. One memorable example was a video of a mid 50’s, white man saying he knew high ranking military people who were told to stock up. The guy had glowie written all over him.
Then there were the repetitive pictures of empty shelves that were frequently recycled. And multiple other anecdotal warnings of supply chain shocks.
The U.S. food supply chain is enormous. A few facilities being damaged will create a hiccup, not a collapse. But for sure, it will serve as excuses for the big grocery chains to jack up prices.
And panic buying will create an excuse for Federal intervention.
Also, they are using language like "rationing" now instead of limits. Like on baby formula, all the news reports are calling it rationing. It is using language to make us fearful and also a bit of predictive programing for what they have planned.

The problem isn’t that it can affect you as a human, it’s that the flu is very deadly to birds and if it spreads too much it could destroy entire farms and thus the industry.
There is no bird flu, they're using the same fake covid PCR tests to create a new pandemic.
Yup! Is there any proof that this flu is killing birds? Seems they are doing the killing. Also I have 25 or so chickens and they are just fine! Eggs have nice dark orange yolks much healthier for you than store eggs
No shit your chickens are fine, they’re not getting contaminated by the other 50,000 chickens in these industrial farms.
The proof is that chickens are dying prematurely, then you see that other birds are exhibiting symptoms (losing weight, not laying eggs, discoloration, swelling etc.) and those ones you kill so they won’t spread to the rest of the farm.

TY I was not thinking on that scale or level.
Added 8 more chickens to the 7 I have. They'll all be laying in the next month or two. Added more raised beds to my garden and will keep adding as much as I can. I dug up a bunch of nice dark soil from behind the chicken coop to fill the new beds.. Thanks Chickys!

Chickens will only lay for two or three years once they start laying. Ducks will lay for 8 to 10 years.

Well all I know is people are finding dead waterfowl around here. Something is killing them and the farmers haven't gotten in the field and also you can't blame pesticides, or pollution North Dakota is a very very clean state.
So far I haven't seen any dead song birds.
Well, if they're willing to kill us over a cold, then it's not much of a stretch to think they'll kill a chicken over the flu.
Start waterglassing eggs folks. It's cheap and ridiculously easy. You can store hundreds of eggs at room temperature for up to two years.
This was just discovered in China (H3H8) a few days ago, now suddenly it's 1 in 10 laying hens here, nationwide in the US?
How this even possible?
