I believe it was used in old CIA files. (I don't know if they still use it today). The parenthesis appear on the old CIA JFK documents that got released, for example. They are used to indicate Jewish involvement without stating explicitly.
Why did they use this convention? No idea. But that's how it was used.

It was created by Anthony Fauci and a Chinese coronavirus researcher named Shi Xhengli "the bat lady." It was paid for by US taxpayer dollars via a multiyear grant signed by Fauci. Did someone put him up to it? I have never heard anyone suggest this, let alone present such evidence.
It's absolutely being exploited and the people doing the exploiting have said so publicly and repeatedly. They see it as an opportunity to "build back better," to remake the world the way they want.
The fact they're asking shows fear. They want to be able to say we weren't biased we wanted people's opinion. Too bad they didn't ask if you thought Covid19 was planned and executed by big pharma in collusion with Gates, the WEC and CHYNA to siphon money out of the worlds treasuries while accomplishing the twin goal of reducing the world's population and conditioning the people to accept digital IDs.

They will then probably go on to use the results of this survey, which will show high numbers of people who believe Covid was created in a lab to control people, in the media and maybe on the floor in Congress later, as evidence that the misinformation on social media is getting really bad and needs to be censored.
