No Scott Adams, it's not between me and MY Dr., I make my medical decisions myself. I can fucking read. This Scamdemic has reaffirmed my lack of trust in the ability, knowledge, and interests of the entire medical comunity. (media.greatawakening.win) 🧘Mental/Physical Health 🏋🏼‍♂️

Smart. They've been badly miseducated, as have virtually all our "experts". They are mostly good people who think they learned proper health care. Convincing them that they've been lied to is a delicate endeavor.

You’re saying people who have excelled in an environment that rewards echoing information and punishing anyone who challenges it could be wrong? How could they all be wrong? These are “intelligent “ people who have memorized a LOT. Diagnose a problem, prescribe pill.

I don't think it's that simple necessarily. At the very least, I think it's reductionist.

The idea behind science to aid people is that there are spaces to challenge and there are spaces to practice.

While educated doctors should be able to offer their opinions and do so freely, standardization is important when it comes to general medicine.

But they should also be able to offer newer treatments that are for testing to people who need them, e.g. the right to try.

Outside of general medicine, we should be able to expect challenges to established medicine, to aid in furthering it.

I ask my MD a question, he answers me with the usual narrative; I show him he is wrong and why; he walks out the door. I ask his PA where he went to medical school since he cant answer a simple medical question. How is it I know more than he does?

I recently heard he unexpectedly retired and moving out of state.

A general practice doc has about 15-20 minutes per patient to see you, examine you, diagnose you, propose a treatment plan, and then document the entire thing in your chart. You asked a question. He answered it. You decided to argue with him, citing God only knows what. He doesn't have time to track down whatever blog you've been reading and debunk whatever some voice on the internet is claiming is going to cure all ills. He's not going to argue with someone who feels like they're the medical expert because they read a few articles they searched up on the internet - and now wants to argue with the licensed, board-certified professional who's been practicing for 25 years.

I'd quickly end the consult too. There's far too much to do and far too little time to get bogged down arguing with a recalcitrant patient who doesn't want to listen to medical advise, but instead just wants to argue. He gave you an answer. If you don't like it, get a second opinion. If you really think he's wrong and it's dangerous, you could file a complaint with the State's Medical Board too and really be a burr up his ass. He'll have to take time out of his day, losing whatever revenue he could've made, to go stand before an inquisition and defend himself and his medical license. Do keep in mind though, this is the kind of thing that'll get you fired as a patient.

First off he was a cardiothoracic surgeon, a specialist treating me for blood clots. I had every right to ask him why he wanted me to get the clot shot. He did not answer my question instead walked out. If he doesnt have the time to answer me this 1 question then he's not a doctor that is interested in my health and not the doctor I would ever return to.

I met a nutritionist by chance, she nixed up some coconut oil " the carrier oil " peppermint, lemon, tea tree, and eucalyptus and cured it once and for all.

I literally healed my thyroid with essential oils, after the doctor said she “didn’t know why” I was experiencing what I was experiencing (enlarged thyroid among other things). I used a blend and it shrunk, never returning to what it used to look like. I’d say that was 6-7 years ago.

I beg to differ. The decision is between my, and my MD. For example, if i want Liposuction; and my MD says "No, that would be foolish for you at your age, weight and health"; he wins. Despite what I do, no matter how I stomp my feet, shout and scream; he is the MD. If in his opinion, this process would be akin to suicide - he has a DUTY to refuse to provide this service. Whether I am anemic, or morbidly obese - he is the health professional.

However, if he demands I get a process, take a vaccine, being an exercise regiment, or take a medication - I have final and absolute right to VETO his decision. For any reason, or no reason at all.

Decisions are joint, requiring agreements between BOTH parties. And as a Patient, i hold the upper hand, because I may chose, at my discretion, to find another health provider for any reason, or no reason at all.

In most cases, it's really up to you. If your doctor says no, you can find a new doctor. If you have enough money and motivation, you'll usually be able to find one who will say yes, even if you have to leave the country to do so.

He deserves the cross fire for this. He's saying the reason to get a vaccine is because it made him feel more secure. Vaccines have no effect on mental health. Therefore, what he experienced is pure placebo effect. He wants to believe it works, so it works.

Part of the medical community here. There are plenty of us still worthy of trust. Do not throw the baby out with the bathwater. The saying is "trust but verify," not "distrust entirely because you were lied to by some guy."

If you want/need medical advise, go to a doctor. Don't try and self-medicate. Far too many of us have given up far too many of the best years of our lives so we can answer those questions for you accurately. Be skeptical. Ask questions. If you're not satisfied, get a second opinion, or a third... as many as it takes until you are satisfied.

But I do guarantee you this, if your plan is to disregard modern medicine entirely until you're on death's door and then show up at an emergency department hoping for a miracle, there may be no miracle for you. Trust, but verify. If you're feeling spicy, give a shout-out to based healthcare providers who did serve you well and help us try and rebuild the reputation Fauci f'd up.

yes, I have read how men are more reluctant to go to the Dr. and that is part of the shorter average life span.

I was in the Philippines living when this all started and finally went to the Dr. to get a thorough check-up... Have to use common sense and be an informed consumer.

Agree. My doctor, been pretty open to dialogue on issues with me in the past. Went in for a physical in August of 2021. Pushed the jab - hard (never the flu shot that I pass on). I said I wasn't ready at the moment. Went through visit as usual, got a 5 minute preaching at the end (there is no way we can get out of this if everyone doesn't take the jab, blah, blah, blah). Still said I would pass. He finishes up (like he is the moral superior and I am about to kill myself and everyone around me) and reaches out his hand to shake mine...I paused and said "You sure you want to do that?" (not that cared of course) and he pulled his hand back and says "Your probably right.". I respected this man but after that I realized they just spit out what they hear from the medial "system". Critical thinking has left society bigly.

What about when current medical standards are needed to keep premature babies alive? Would you denounce the medical industry when you go into labor 3 months early and are considering how best to keep your premature baby alive? Will essential oils and ivermectin help the premature baby's underdeveloped lungs functioning, or would people here trust a stocked and staffed neonatal intensive care unit?

permalink save report block reply

Yes, the medical industry is good at some things, but overall, it is set up to serve its establishment overlords, not its patients. The establishment wants to sell pharmaceutical drugs and surgeries, and routinely overlooks, demonizes, or outlaws cheap, free, or natural cures that could prevent patients from needing drugs or surgery.

The establishment controls the industry, from medical school curriculums to its medical journals, licensing, recommended best practices, government agencies, and more, penalizing doctors who deviate from establishment recommendations by threatening their licenses or branding them quacks.

In recent years, they have moved to make being an independent practitioner very difficult, pushing doctors to move from private practice to employment by bigger entities. This makes it easier for the establishment to control them. Look how hard it was for good, honest doctors who were saving lives by not following CDC/NIH protocols to buck the system during COVID.

Saving preemies is a $26 billion a year business in the US, and preemies often go on to have expensive health issues for years to come, so the establishment gets a good return on their investment for that. If a naturopaths were included in the decision-making about how best to design and handle this care, they could probably cut those costs in half.
