In that meeting they knew the Alfa Bank fabricated hoax story wasn't going anywhere and so they had to have a big pow-wow meeting to get everyone on the 'same page'. And that's when they had to 'change gears' and ramp up the Trump/Russia dossier fabricated hoax story. Even though that hoax had been circulating for a couple of months, it became the front & center push and all info leaked to the fake news outlets. Hillary most likely approved that hoax-fake news as well.
And then came Mueller special counsel in April/May of 2017.
