These are not the schools I grew up in during the 50's and 60's. I loved reading and visited my school and public library frequently growing up. After reading 'The Humanist Manifesto" in the 80's, I homeschooled my kids for many years and then worked as a substitute for many years when I put the kids in public school. It saddens me that this is what education has become. If homeschooling taught me one thing it is the joy of learning and how naturally that comes to children when they are free to learn. If we can read, we all can learn anything, anytime we want and we don't need schools or fancy degrees to become educated (even though I do understand the criteria for desseminating technical knowledge and the need for standards in these areas). I guess that's why reading is such a low priority in the schools. My heart is truly broken.
My mom taught me how to read by the age of 3.
I've been reading my entire life.
Same only I was 4.
3 here. Knew all the planets, dwarfs, and their order, all the states, and could place most countries accurately on the map by 6.
Independent self-reliant people would be a counterproductive anachronism in the collective society of the future where people will be defined by their associations. ~ John Dewey.
The hallowed halls of learning no more, the killing fields of the Inquisitive's desire to expand beyond the confines of contemporary dogma...
Blessed be to those unsung angels, that helped me to see beyond the illusion of lies.
The librarian needs to be fired and investigated. She may be a lure for children to be trafficked for a larger organization. See who has read or checked that book out and if they are still around.
Loudoun County is the wealthiest county in the United States. The librarian was at Sterling Middle School. Sterling is a part of the county with a very heavy Hispanic presence, including MS-13 problems. I'm wondering if the librarian was referring to this demographic - I'd guess yes.
Loudoun is also home to Evie's Crib (the pool is heated). Possible home to Alefantis' pig farm. And home to many of US old money families - Mellon, Roths, Rockefeller, etc. all have massive estates in Loudoun. Lot's of sick shit goes on these giant properties.
Correct and how close is Langley? The core of the original CIA upper management is right there. This is likely a black hat operation penetrating a local school system, a beta test if you will.
Langley is about 15 minutes down the GW Parkway from Sterling. As recently as 3 years ago, none of this insanity was happening in Fairfax or Loudoun. It suddenly appeared out of nowhere like a big, coordinated effort, lending credence to your theory. And yes, plenty of Agency folks live in both counties.
Less than a 30 minute drive. Langley is a little crowded. More space out in Loudoun County. What's the point in getting rich of clandestine work if you can't own a sizeable estate?
Just fyi, a lot of those estates are in Fauquier County, not Loudoun. The Mellon estate is in Upperville. There are also some very wealthy estates in Middleburg which is in Loudoun but a lot of the estates are in Fauquier. I don't know of any Rockefeller estates anywhere in Northern Virginia.
Some are some aren't. Some of the estates are so large they span both counties. I may have misspoke/mistyped on the Rockefellers, but no way of knowing. One intermarriage and the last name goes away. Yep - the Mellons have that massive estate in Upperville, near White Post, I think? I'm a Alex/FFX guy, so I don't know the hinterlands very well.
White Post isn't very close to Upperville. If you drive up 522 north from Front Royal and bear off to the right at Dinosaurland, you'll pass through White Post before you get to Route 50.
Fauquier County spent many decades catering to the wealthy landowners and keeping out subdivisions of hoi poloi.
Yeah, I see that. Was thinking it was close to Upperville.
Yikes!
I just can't even say they're sick anymore...these people are demonically possessed.

Librarian claims it was just one student who came through the library 6 years ago, yet book was just published in 2019. https://www.irisgottlieb.com/books
Shut down the whole school district. Just shut it down.
are they going to give a degree for streetwalking??...these people are demented beyond reason...
Quoting Samuel L. Jackson: clears throat EX-MOTHAFUCKIN-CUSE ME ?
Louden County philosophy: We don’t catch and punish pedophiles or abusers but just ensure the kids have help accepting it.
I have to ask, are any of these “sex working” children actually sex trafficked children?
Unbelievable. Wow. The number of idiots and the level of idiocy in our school systems astonish me and I have been fighting our little school system here in Wisconsin on behalf of one or another of our Brady Bunch for 20 years. And still this shocks me. This crazy person actually thinks she's helping children. How does somebody reach this person?
What the heck. Mental illness.
Nah. Being retarded has a limit. Being evil in the other hand...
Parents pull your kids out of school. They are YOUR children, not the teacher's unions' children or the governments.
In that district? The teacher who called this out is probably a lefty, but congrats to them for not being completely evil.
The librarian needs to be tarred and feathered.
"...even worse than the time of Noah..."
Is that bored or dyslexic?
As someone who is, the world makes so much more sense to me when I don't try to see it as everyone else does.
First, if a teacher knows children who are doing these things, they have an obligation to report that children are being sexually abused. Children cannot consent to this kind of behavior. I don't understand why the teachers are not behind bars.
The idea that Dems are NOT grooming children for organized exploitation is harder and harder to defend.
I see we’re all back to misspelling Loudoun again ffs
Sorry, my common core training says that approximate answers are ok
