That was my gut reaction as well but then I realized any payments would be to the detriment of the Special Olympians. This was the best possible outcome. Let them compete, and let the organization take the loss in public.

I am aware. I was just advising not everyone can just pick up and move like the majority of people here seem to think is always possible or things aren't as bad because they are in a better place. I have seen tons of posts here telling people its not that bad because they haven't lost shit and think everywhere is the same as Florida. I am prepared to do what is needed for my family so yes, I understand its not going to get any more gentle. Its not a feel sorry for me, its an eye opening for those who have it way better and look down on people in worse spots acting like they can just move in a snap of the fingers.
