I went through the same thing with Red Lobster, when I was young that was like the "special occasion" going out, and it was pretty good, so I take my wife there one time thinking that it's somewhere I hadn't gone in years. Absolute garbage now.

Growing up Pizza Hut used to be good. There was a "Book It" program where if you read so many books, you got a free personal sized pizza. Now it's gone full libtard and serves terrible pizza.
