Yeah. A law isn't going to stop this nonsense. We need parents with common sense and a culture that doesn't cherish being as woke as can be. I honestly don't care if a person that identifies as something reads kids a book, but when the whole premise of the event is that that person is something (or clearly if sexuality is involved), not so much.
In a word, yes. But in a sentence, I'd rather make it absolutely illegal to willfully expose children to these performances because they are continuously spreading across the country.
By "letting the community decide", we may as well just cheer them on for exercising their rights to do it, because those communities are deciding to do it.
Pedophiles only get away with it currently because they are a protected class in our society. If it was left up to the communities these people would have to start a pedophile only community where they both feed themselves and protect themselves from outsiders who don't like the fact they are raping kids. Take away their protection and take away the people being forced to produce food for them and suddenly you have a bunch of people that quite honestly don't even have time to rape kids because they are so busy just trying not to die. You aren't taking the communities deciding for themselves thing far enough, in fact I don't even know how you are taking it, you seem to think that if government no longer protected pedophiles everybody would suddenly be ok with it?
Think of how many things are illegal, now also consider how much of a deterrent something being illegal is. I think you'll find very quickly that laws are not even worth the paper they are printed on.
You have a fair point about people ignoring the law and so on, however consider that anything you would do to stop this would be illegal as well.
So even if they lost the protected class status, actually stopping them from doing it without making it illegal would essentially be impossible because laws would still protect their freedoms to do these things.
“Okay okay we will ban the tranny acts in front of kids… does that make you Qanons happy?” If its not tranny hour then its something else. Is it just me or does any one else out there think we don’t need anymore “laws.” We need the filth cleaned from our society so this disgusting shit stops being thought up in the first place. Whats next? Evil certainly isn’t thought up in my head. Laws chase the evil, they don’t cure it.
With the other posters on this. We need less laws not more laws. Also the problem with writing down laws is that it spawns an entire profession of people figuring out loopholes in the law. Like others say, let the community decide. We cheer on centralized top down authority when it suits our purposes and sides with our feelings, but the moment it doesn't yikes centralized authority bad! How long is "our side" going to fall for crap like this?
Good idea, but she is part of the problem if she doesn't realize that Congress has limited authority within the states of the Union and most of Congress' authority is to regulate interstate commerce. Thus, she can ban it on national TV stations or stations that cross state borders, but her law can legally regulate nothing happening in a county library in a state.
People should not champion unconstitutional laws, no matter how much you would like them to come in.
The federal government has TWO jurisdictions: (1) within the state for the enumerated powers in the Constitution, and (2) within federal territories for anything else -- but that ONLY applies to the territories.
Since this is clearly not an enumerated power, it would ONLY apply within the federal territories (same as any face mask or vaccine mandate).
Now, if you want to get your own state to pass such a law, then you might have something.
But don't be promoting unconstitutional actions by the government employees. It will only lead to disaster. (Should go without saying at this point, but apparently not.)
LOL....laws, laws, laws
I mean what is the definition of drag queen performance
Drag queen performing "its raining men"
Can you take kids to an all femal scantily clad performance and have them stick money in gstring
Its just foolishness......let the community decide what is acceptable or what is not.....

This is a tough one to define.
Monty Python skits have drag but I don't find them offensive.
How could you define the difference?
Sexual deviance + Misleading children?
its WHO defines the difference that is important
Targeting it as an accomplice to a sex offender might do the trick.
There are most probably sex offenders in the mix.
Bah! More laws!
Is there a shortage of pickup trucks, beer, and rope?
100% effective and MUCH quicker than getting into out corrupt court systems!

since the laws don't apply to 'them' ya ... its just a bunch of bs and a big show
making people being accountable for breaking current laws, now that would be something
Exactly.

Heck yes! Make em go on the record with their votes.
It's sad that there has to be a bill for such a thing.

Good. Make the Democrats defend that.
Maybe at some point she will introduce a law to lower gas and food prices.
There's already laws on the books for child abuse.

Lots of shills here?
Because making more laws is the answer to all our problems...
We can see who is who with this. Will rhinos support pedomania?
And you gotta be of age to go into a drinking establishment.
