That's all very good in a government that is suppose to serve you. But. let's look at it terms of "John" being a police officer or FBI agent. It shouldn't be this way, but you can see the lines starting to become less distinct. This tells us that the more powerful John is with authority, the more totalitarian the authority becomes until it is one where 'Might makes Right". This is the reality of the world and in many cases is a god complex.
The founding father's believed in a limited and "weak" federal government to be better for serving the people. They recognized that powerful governments always ended up being contrary to the will of the people.
I would suggest demilitarizing the police and ending all SWAT teams. This is the role of military to serve and not the police. The FBI needs to be disbanded. There's no 'storied' history of the FBI. It has always been an abusive and corrupt force. How many more Band Aid layers are needed before acknowledging this boat won't float? It's function can be divided and absorbed into the other police agencies of the federal government. The commerce clause needs to be either eliminated or confined to interstate trade as it was originally intended. The commerce clause cannot over ride a Constitutional Right or infringe on one. The 2nd Amendment is such a Right. What is not explicitly stated in the Constitution belongs to the States. Federal Law can only have the jurisdiction on Federal property, not State property. The same should be true for the States. State law only has jurisdiction on State property. County Laws have jurisdiction only on County property. The people are held accountable by common law.
These are some of the thoughts I have I'd like to see happen.
We can agree on the FBI. I think at least 95% of law enforcement should be controlled from the local level with very little left to the federal government.
There are instances where SWAT is needed. If they can stop the justice system from releasing criminals those instances will be less frequent.
I agree 100% with you on the first part, but if you read about the history of SWAT, it's not what you think. It started in LA for reasons outside of law force. It's a function of the military. IMHO, it's role belongs to the National Guard.
I was reading from John in the Bible today..I read this title and was like whaaaa?
😁
Why you always wanting to violate people, John? OP says to tell you to kiss my ass...

So you've outlined the problem. Now what's your solution?

Correct. The role of the federal government, according to the Constitution, is to protect our rights.
The U.S. Constitution.
Except when it comes to the vaxx, then it's your body my choice.
F off John!
Don't use legal names then, voluntarily joining the institution.
