Cult speak. I know because I have a few in my circles that were bitching about gas n food prices. I told them elections have consequences and asked if they missed Trump's economy yet. That's when they went off with this exact narrative. It's not xiden. It' s those damn Reeeeepublicans.
They refuse to listen to xiden shutting down pipelines and sending our resources overseas. Brainwashed zombies. I begged them if they ever remembered anything I have tried to tell them in the many years I have tried to red pill them, it's is to drop the msm, they are waging psy warfare on you.
Nope. They need their safe spaces. After watching msm for so many years they feel like they're friends and trust them. It's infuriating.
Remind them that Democrats control the House, Senate, and the White House.
You could also bring up Kyrsten Sinema and Joe Manchin and say they're better Republicans than Mitt Romney, Lindsay Graham, and Liz Cheney and ask them if they're willing to trade them.

I hear this all the time from random lefties who think "once all the evil, greedy old Republicans die, we can mold things in our image". It's more than a little alarming, and probably the biggest difference, IMO, as I feel like most of us welcome a "healthy opposition" as an essential part of politics. One that argues in good faith... Unlike the Dems.. Or the RINOs.
An "in group" literally requires an "out group" to exist as an "in group", it seems pretty basic that opposites imply one another. It's only when people don't realize this that they want to eliminate completely the group they consider to be the enemy. On what grounds will you call yourself righteous when you've killed everybody not righteous? Well, you take a page from our government and invent a new "out group" for your "in group" to kill. Having some type of opposition is very much an essential part of politics, else you find yourself in the position we are: tyranny.

I try to not be too hard on them, because there was a time I towed the R line pretty hard. THAT is what we need to get them to understand. WE hate the old guard Republicans as much as THEY do. Now, we need to get them to turn on their D masters like we did ours. It's not easy, because they have been programmed well.
I find the most effective way to deal with these dimwits is when they respond with bs I just laugh really hard like hysterical…that’s a good one…then walk away. There is nothing a libtard hates/fears more than to be mocked. And they’ll start second guessing themselves too. Vs arguing with them, they’ve already got their preprogrammed lines ready. Won’t get anywhere with that.
