Yesterday, someone posted an article about HEB, and how they sponsored an event called Rainbow on the Creek, which included a drag queen story time.
I called my local HEB, and was told that was not true.
I looked into it more today. I went to their own website, HEB Newsroom. There is a calendar of events.
For June, HEB had 8 pride events. Pretty much all geared toward children. There were festivals, rodeo's, a zoo event, a picnic, and of course drag queen story time. Then, I looked at May to see how they celebrated our veterans on Memorial Day. Not one single event or mention of our vets. Disgusting. Let them know.
They were also one of the companies that cancelled Mike Lindell's products.
Their headquarters is in San Antonio where a lot of extremist crony libs are networked.
Thanks, I had forgotten the Mike Lindell thing. I am not in the SA area, my store is in a more small town area. You know how Trump was constantly made to "disavow" things. I guess that is what I want my store to do. Disavow what is now obvious pedo stuff when they are constantly gearing these events to "youth".
So when you call next time, and they try to push you off on corporate, just say, "So, to clarify, you refuse to disavow this pedo behavior." Haha. See what they say then. Because if they're not disavowing, they are condoning.

I called my local store and wanted to know what "they" thought of this. They would not answer, and just kept telling me to comment to corporate. I don't live near Austin, where the events were taking place, She said she could not comment and then hung up on me. Nice huh?
Typical. But it's good that you called. I never head of heb, but apparently it's a pretty large grocery chain. Keep calling! Call other branches. Let your voice be heard because they sure don't have a problem letting their voices be heard! Thanks for answering.

I was a restaurant general manager in my 20s and part of my orientation included not talking to the local media and referring any questions to the franchise's home office.
Oh, I understand what you are saying, but I would guess that you never had to turn a blind eye to this kind of disgusting stuff towards children. In this situation, would you have agreed with the customers and disavowed the sponsorship of children being read to by evil looking men in drag, or refused to comment?
I would want to end the conversation as quickly as possible, especially if I was stuck in a dead end job answering phone calls from angry customers.

I just went on twitter and left like 20 messages calling them out. Also rumor that Charles Butt is a pedo, which makes sense. I left that in a message too. We need to swarm twitter and leave these messages for them on the comments. Nothing makes companies more embarassed than going on their twitter and blowing up the comments.
We gotta go to war on their platforms. I truly believe that. We have millions of people, we can do this.

I don't know how the company makes any money, they are so busy putting on "community events".

ok, I just called consumer research.org. They are the group that exposed State Farm, and others. They actually answered the phone, and the guy who answered said he was very familiar with HEB as he is from Houston. He seemed genuinely eager to get this information. he said he would get the team together today, and get on it.
Besides the obvious stuff they are doing, I just hate that they market themselves as this wholesome, Texas only grocery store. While, hosting event after event grooming kids. On the "rainbow on the creek" event which had the drag queen storytime, It also had highlighted that this event would also involve : Gender-affirming care. I looked that up and it is defined as just what you would think. disgusting stuff to bring children to.

I had them in the past when they were new technology, but the tracking ability made me get rid of it. Now, you can't exist without one. Mine is a cheap android though.
