looking for a good Multivitamin... a few people suggested some to me in a previous thread.
i want something not produced from Big Pharma. Dont trust them or companies like monsanto who are lessening the nutritional value of our food.
thanks in advance
Here is a handy dandy guide we use...... https://www.multivitaminguide.org/best-multivitamin.html
They have Garden of Life in the top 10, which was purchased by Nestle. I'm not sure if I trust this site.
Good input. But it's a place to start in the quest for the right answer. At least they have a ranking system and accessible criteria. Caveat Emptor.
thanks!
How can we trust that site?
Liposomal Vit C 1000mg per day, made by Altrient, and the same liposomal vit B multicomplex, it contains zinc so no need for any other.
Also Magnesium oil, very good.
The problem with many of the tablets is absorption, lots of bulking agent etc, liposomal absorbs that much easier because it's a gel like structure, just add it to a tiny amount of water and drink down.
Consider one of the higher quality liquid multivitamins. A month's supply will cost you $30 to $50. You can choose one with various herbs, mushroom extracts, etc. I think it's one of the best ways to cover all of the micronutrients you might be missing. Plus being liquid it's much more likely you will be able to absorb it.
Carlson.
Family owned.
High quality IMO.
ive taken their fish oil...thanks!

Pricey but Christian company, knows what is happening and who is responsible, formulates his own (in his own lab), sources from clean, non gmo sources, has much higher % amounts in formula.
We use this as a base and then supplement on top of it.
I take them all separately.
The natural way of getting the right amount of vitamins and minerals daily is to eat the right foods. Your body was made to metabolize real food. Supplements are ok but taking a multi-vitamin does not give you enough of any of one of the vitamins or minerals that your body needs. You can only get so much in a pill or capsule. Also, there are a lot of supplements that don't dissolve, meaning you pass them without getting any benefit from them.
I've been taking supplements for nearly 40 years. Don't take "multivitamins." They are suspect, probably poor ingredients, and unnecessary. "Over-supplementing" is rarely beneficial.
What you need to do is spend time analyzing your diet, perhaps identifying possible deficiencies, and go from there. It may involve seeing a doctor to order some basic labs for you, i.e., D3, B12, etc. If you DO identify some potential problem areas, then select individual or combo supplements to fill in the gaps. If you are diagnosed with a condition that can benefit from specific supplementation, then that is another variable.
If you reach this point and still feel supplementation would be beneficial, then search on the supplement and the specific manufacturer, and plug in "reviews." If you are linked to Amazon, don't read the 5-star reviews, read the 1 and 2-star reviews.
Do research for sources as you say... shocked to find out the "leading vitamins" are made by Pfizer etc. I used to take liquid vites from Shaklee called Vita-lea. If still made and not compromised, they were great.
None, eat liver once a week (no more than that!!) and you will be good.
Great advice, impossible to do. 🤮
Yeah I must admit it doesn't taste very good but the bennies are awesome Clearer skin, thicker hair, healthy hue etc etc
Agreed. Still….
