Same dude, for me it was the 2016 election. I was a huge Bernie bro, thinking we should get rid of the electoral college because it's not "fair" that more people voted for someone over the other and still loose. I realized later thats what are founders intended. Don't want the majority always ruling the minority. The reason I started questioning it is when the fake news reported that Trump called all Mexicans rapist. I was gobsmacked that a running future president would say that. So I did my own research and looked at the actual video. At the time most of the news sources were pre selectively editing clips to only show one part of the context. I was studying/trying to be in film at the time so I knew how easy it is to manipulate a video, so I searched up the actual video and watch the segment in its entirety. I was blown away because he never said that, he was calling the cartel that. Once I saw that the media lied to me about this, I started thinking what else have they been hiding from me. And that's when I went down the rabbit hole to be redpill lol
hopefully it's increased since 1984/was in college forever and a teacher, but back when we tested, it was around 70. that was on the old electric typewriters;) I had a manual typewriter at home, even in college. parents didn't believe in anything 'modern'😸

This is why they target schools and universities. Students are not usually allowed to question a teacher’s dearly held beliefs. Nor are they usually adequately equipped to debate. One of us would never put up with their stupidity and would call them on it, but a kid wouldn’t know better.
Which is also why it's important to be kind and patient with moderate, thoughtful liberals. If they poke their heads in here and everyone takes a giant, smarmy shit on them, they will go right back where they came from.

Although my sister, this morning, said that the democrats believe they can keep the House and Senate because of the abortion issue. I tried to explain that they may be false news, but she said it was even on Fox. Then, after our conversation, I saw the Fox news article. She was right, but is she, is this fake news, or is the democratic operative just wishful thinking. I would hate to see them pick up more seats with all the RINOs in our government currently.
