Good. Covid aside, I picked up chiggers a couple of years ago doing yard work, and god damn was it intensely painful and itchy. It sucked having to go to a doctor to confirm what I already knew. I wasted an entire day of suffering. This is a harmless medicine that no one has ever overdosed on. There's no reason I shouldn't have been able to walk into a drug store and buy it and heal myself immediately when that happened.

If there's a surge in total Covid cases, and WGS confirms that Delta is showing up in that area, then they assume that Delta is causing the surge. It's not like it really matters, in the end. Basically they are saying that they test a few individuals who volunteer for WGS in any given area. If the number of cases is increasing in a certain area, and WGS confirms Delta, then they assume (reasonably) that Delta is responsible for the increase in cases.
