I don't trust Ron 100%.
I just cannot trust Lawyers.
They are shills for rich people.
Lawyers exist to protect the assets of rich people.
They also exist to find ways to use the legal system to STEAL the assets of other people.
Ron is doing what he is doing.
Simply because Trump is in FL.
Take a look at all the other red states.
None of them are doing what Ron is doing.
That's because Trump doesn't live in their state.
If Trump was in Texas.
I bet the governor there would be a DeSantis type.
Your intuition is correct. Let me tell you something that bothers me about DeSantis.
Trump left and went silent for a bit, but did you notice DeSantis during that period? He started talking like Trump and using the same hand gestures. It felt phoney, but we were so starving for a win that I think many didn't notice.
As soon as the talking point became DeSantis instead of Trump, all the Never Trumpers I knew jumped on the DeSantis train. I knew something was up.
Then I found out about his Yale secret society ties to The St Elmo Society. St Elmo was one of the oldest fraternities at Yale aside from Skull and Bones. Again, I wanted to remain hopeful, but the phoniness on camera made me do a gut check.
His name used to be listed on the Wikipedia page for St Elmo Society, but it has been removed. Why would it need to be removed?
I dont trust him. He could very well be Mike Pence 2.0
Yup, I’m sorry. I don’t trust anyone who was previously a politician. He says things that sound great and he does things that seem great. However, I don’t trust that he would keep it up in Washington and I also think there’s something to be said that Trump lives in Florida. I need to research Ron’s voting record while he was in Washington. That’s always VERY telling. Don’t listen to their words, look at and believe their voting record. If I remember a childhood proverb correctly I believe it says that in so many words “actions speak louder than words”.
While in DC Ron voted for TPP and to grant Fast Track Authority; something Trump was railing against when Ron voted for it.
As an ambitious young career politician from Florida, after Trump crushed both Jeb and Rubio in Florida then became President, the savvy move was to align with rather than openly oppose Trump.
Rons backed by Wall Street, Hedge Funders, Koch Bros, the Chamber of Commerce that reps Multi National Globalists and Team Bush who belonged to the same Yale frat he did. In contrast to Trump, only about 6% of Rons money comes from small donors.
As Florida's Guv he's ok because his success depends on him being Trumpian at a state level. However as POTUS, he'd be a Bush/Rubio.
That's why early this year Establishment CONservative Inc, including Benji Shapiro, started hyping Ron as a better choice than Trump for 2024. Hyping Ron is a passive aggressive way to undermine Trump while pretending to be MAGA.
Since MAGA is still young, once they take out Trump; the creator, leader and protector of the MAGA Movement, they can infiltrate and co opt it like they did the Tea Party.
I try to pay attention to the Establishment Cons anti Trump/pro Ron narratives so I can develop counters. Sundance at The Conservative Treehouse is a great resource. I read his Twitter thread each day on the news aggregator site Rantingly.com and highly recommend that others do too.
They are pushing DeSantis because they think he will be easier to manipulate. Trump is a brick wall to the RINOs' agendas. That doesn't mean DeSantis is one of them.
There was some stuff about quietly adding in laws to force jabs on people. Red flag laws etc.
MAGA is Trump. There is no Republican party worth a damn.
There is MAGA and then everyone else.
But after 6 more years of Trump...Kari Lake is fire....and Trump did say she was going to be the greatest govenor in the US not 'in the top with Desamtis'. But the greatest. And she certainly acts like it.
IIRC, she’s never been a politician before like Trump. Her run for Governor is her first political race just like when Trump ran for president. I’m all about the newbies. Give us more non-politicians and take the dried up, milk toast people back, we don’t want them anymore. 🤷🏼♀️
I don’t think it makes Desantis questionable. Is he perfect? No, but he’s doing a heck of a lot more than any other governor (I’m unfortunately stuck with Abbot).
Yes the establishment is gunning for Desantis, but I think it’s out of sheer desperation to get someone other than Trump in control of the GOP. They’re just asking themselves: “who is the most popular conservative who isn’t Trump?” And going with it. No strategy, pure desperation. And unless I’ve missed something, I haven’t seen much of Desantis sucking up to GOPe. I don’t think it’s his fault RINOs are trying to use him to get rid of Trump.
TL;DR: Desantis is probably good and should stay where he’s doing his best work: in Florida. Trump deserves the WH and leadership of the GOP, but that doesn’t require throwing Desantis under the bus.
Rons "doing a heck of alot more than any other governor".
Are you sure of that? Perhaps you've been lead to believe this by Ron hyping Conservative media who also ignore or minimize what's going on in other states?
Con Media tends to go for feels over reals just like most media does. They want to make people emotionally attached to a politician and their image rather than attached to their actual policies and ability to achieve them.
This, and it makes DeSantis even more questionable

Be sure to look under the "Membership" section.
Poof. He's gone from the Membership section now.
According to FBCoverup.com, it was changed on May 16, 2022, 1:52pm EST). You can see their pdf here
I am glad I am not the only one that noticed how Ron now moves his hands like Trump.
This is for surely coached.

Interesting.
You shouldn’t trust any politician, ever. Light shining on them, always.
It’s the only way.
This! 👍🏻

Yes! She's a future president for this exact reason.
