I figured I might pick up a quick 25-50k if I got lucky, but I've learned my lessons from past mistakes

I had to create a support request with TDAmeritrade.. They never emailed me a proxy number and they finally sent one at 2pm yesterday (after the first deadline was extended).
Can someone explain to me what this means in simple terms? For instance, if you have a financial planner/advisor, would he/she be aware of the need to vote on the client's behalf?

I called yesterday and nothing. I had to sit on hold for 25 minutes with E-Trade to get my control number.

I have my shares in an TDAmeritrade account. I went to search box near upper right and typed "proxy"
Look for shareholder library on left hand column. Clicking that link pulled up my DWAC shares and you can vote directly from there.

They emailed me over a week ago. Maybe look in your spam folder as others have suggested?

I would request the control number and vote myself; if you don’t have a control number, you don’t get a vote.
