Good way to summarize. And autists are very good at pattern recognition!
Love the autists.
I'm a conspiracy analyst.
It is downright laughable for anyone to think that nobody ever conspires to do anything illegal or immoral.
And it is downright pathetic for anyone to fail to understand that nobody in the world conspires more than politicians do. Conspiring is ALL they really do.
The psychological propganda against "conspiracies" happening is to get people to believe that either they don't happen at all, or politicians don't conspire.
I identify as a conspiracy therapist.
Ding ding ding! We have a winner. : )
gotta beware of apophenia, though.
The human brain is so good at pattern recognition, it can see them even where none exist.

conspiracy theory has a negative connotation, because some of them are paranoid delusions, but a lot of them turn out to be true as well.
The CIA, FBI and Secret Service conspired to kill JFK.
Could be. Haven't looked into it to be honest, though it wouldn't shock me.
Personally I've always found a bitter irony in the theory that Oswald was actually trying to protect the president, but he was such a lousy shot that...yeah...
Let me get this straight, you're posting what appears to be concern troll psychological disorders but you don't know that the term 'conspiracy theory' came directly from the CIA attempting to cover up the assassination.
I hadn't heard that, but it's interesting.
I just want to make sure that we (ie: trump supporters, the right, whatever the hell you want to call it) aren't falling for misleading or false information simply because we've been right in the past.
Made up Example: imagine a story went around that hiliary clinton ate puppies. I could believe it's possible, hell it wouldn't even shock me at this point, but what if it turned out that she was violently allergic to dog dander? How fast would something like that spread if people weren't doing their research?
So, you're basically admitting to concern trolling.
I wouldn't say trolling, but I guess?
exactly!
Look into E. Howard Hunt’s deathbed confession to his son St. John Hunt.
cursory look landed me on this book, which I might get later

unrelated to the original topic, but it might be interesting to look into how the CIA's operators think.
That is why the D.S. uses the term and may even intentionally hide its actions within established "Conspiracy Theories"....
agreed. I'm just saying you shouldn't assume something is true just because it's labeled a conspiracy theory anymore than you should believe it's fake for the same reason. check the facts and make up your own mind in as logical and unbiased manner as you can. =)
well said.
Honestly, I think we're on the same page here.
Which is why they invented the term.
Yes, but “How many coincidences before mathematically impossible?”
Oh for sure. Occam's Razor, "the answer which makes the least number of assumptions is usually the correct one." (may have fucked up the quote, but that's the basic idea).
But it's one thing to believe something is true after pouring into the details, and quite another to assume it must be true just because people you don't like label it a word with a negative connotation, lol.
I'm not against believing in conspiracies. they happen all the time. it's human nature to conspire with others towards mutual benefit. The double-edge sword is that you can get discredited if you push something that turns out to be false, even if you're right ninety-nine percent of the time.
One of the reasons the right has been so effective in messaging lately is because the left has pushed crazy shit for years and it all turned out to be bullshit, so we have to be vigilant in making sure what we say is accurate, else we may fall into the same trap due to complacency and/or overconfidence...
That's why it is important to use critical thinking in analyzing possible conspiracies. Believing anything just because it goes against the mainstream narrative is just as wrong as believing the mainstream narrative for no reason other than it is the narrative being promoted by those who constantly conspire to promote false narratives.
exactly =)
That’s a shoutout to all of us autist anons. We see you junior 😉

Pattern recognition and analysis is the actual foundation of the scientific method. You must observe a pattern before you can form a hypotheses, and subsequently design an experiment to test said hypotheses.
In a chaotic Universe.
Sound logic and reason.
In other words, folks with a high IQ.
Should be conspiracy "analyst." I believe the CIA invented the term to smear people asking questions about the JFK assassination.
This is exactly right. Plus the additional quality of desiring truth.
