We were wondering why Trump said what he said about O'Dea - my personal take is because he's bad enough that Trump does not want him poisoning the well. He needs his troops to be on his side. OK, so let's take that as a given for a second, well where does this new development fit?
I think this means DeSantis IS deep state. A deep plant. Their plan is basically they must keep Trump from the Presidency. So, by 2024 they plan to have him blocked from running, yet DeSantis (DeepStatis you might say) will be lined up to replace him as not just popular MAGA but also can pull in the moderates/never-Trumpers. And the Uniparty/DS is fine with this because he is their man.
Lots of speculation that Tulsi is not to be trusted - she's the dream team running mate - as some on our side think WOULD be a dream team (i.e, it's started already, that fan club).
I do not think this will work, I think it will be thwarted. But I kinda increasingly think it's what they're trying to do here.
Trump doesn’t have until 2024 in my view. That will be enough time to ensure they can do something to prevent him.
If Trump does not correct the 2020 issues. I think the deep state will try to JFK him as the last resort.

Yeah...so I think this plays into my view. Trump out of the picture - probably not killed as that is too volatile - civil war possible at that point. BUT MAGA absolutely going to win the election - so they give us a "MAGA dream team."
I think - and certainly hope - things are on a lot more aggressive timeline than this for our side as we need (as you say) to correct things now, not risk waiting further.

If he's a deep stater, he'll run against Trump. He'd be the primary vote splitter that they always look for.

This theory makes a lot of sense to me. Supposedly DeSantis intervened when the Broward County officials got caught doing election fraud, he made sure they still would get their retirement. I have been having a hard time verifying this but if a better researcher could find this info or a Florida pede could confirm then I think this would solidify your DeepSantis theory.
If it is true DeSantis could have stopped the raid at MAL, then I don't trust DeSantis.
If true, this is the wrong time to break with Trump. The best time would be before the 24 primaries when DeSantis could criticize any Trump supported pol who got elected, but didn’t keep the America First promise. I’m sure some will surface a year after this midterm.

I've been hesitant on DeSantis. I think he should stay in FL. If he is a DS plant, then I don't think they'll activate him in that position, especially if Trump becomes president. I've heard a lot of the conservatives I know talk about DeSantis as a potential alternative to Trump. I always tell them Desantis doesn't have 50K+ people showing up every time he speaks.

Bussing migrants all over the country wasn't a good look. That's when my support for DeSantis ended. He should've sent them back or out to sea.
He gave them a taste of their own medicine and put their hypocrisy on display. It was a brilliant move. The DS are bringing these people in to break the country. DeSantis showed that the Left understands that, they just want conservative communities broken and not their own. It took a handful to break the Left's vacation spot and a few thousand to break blue cities. They're forcing millions on conservative (collectively) communities all over the country. Now the Left can't single out patriots since they've called it a crisis when thousands of people randomly show up in your district expecting to be fed, housed, etc. on the tax payer's expense.
