That's why DeSantis is staying relatively quiet. He knows too.
What can he say? If he were MAGA he would make a statement thanking Trump and making it clear he isn’t running. If he is running there is nothing to gain from pushing back at this time.
If he was part of the plan to backstab - he could jump on the GOP RINO bandwagon. My point is that him staying quiet is a good sign that this is all an act to flush out RINOs.
