That’s very true. I just know a lot of my family is turning towards Desantis because he’s more “presidential”. They love Trump, but they don’t like his presentation. They’re clearly not fully awake yet. Part of me wants to plant some seeds now. I foresee MSM using Desantis to devide the America First movement.
Most of the Trump voting conservatives I know feel exactly this way. They love Trump’s message but they dislike the messenger. I personnaly would prefer DeSantis stay out of the primaries and then become Trump’s VP, but if he does run, I strongly think he’ll be the nominee. Trump won’t get much of the independent vote.
Trump has shown really great when dealing with other countries. Let him serve first and then desantiz. after we get our country back. Then we can let Trump enjoy some retirement time, he has earned it.

It will be a major victory for the Dems-MSM if they get DeSantis nominated, it will create a situation where the Republicans become a permanent minority party.
But, if DeSantis holds off until 2028, he likely inherits a MAGA coalition and a cleaned house, that makes Republicans a near permanent majority party.
