I went in to a walk in clinic a few weeks ago, sinus infection (or flu/china virus, who knows). They gave me a steroid shot, and put on a round of antibiotics.
It kinda crossed my mind to ask to see the vial for the steroid shot, but then I got caught up in the moment and just let them shoot it into my ass cheek.
I get home and start stressing the fuck out that this nurse gave me a mRNA injection instead. I ended up calling the place and asked if they offer COVID vaccines there, and they told me no and I should try Walgreens instead. Instant relief.
Moral of the story is, the past couple years has made me skeptical as fuck about anything doctor or medical related.
I've made a decision to just die when it's my time, will not subject myself to the medical/pharmaceutical industry.
I'll probably die of an infection for a silly little papercut, because I don't even trust bandaids at this point.

Just a comment about the insanity we all had to deal with. At our local beer bar, they felt the need to take everyone's temperature in order to be deemed worthy to drink their cheap beer. Anyway, one of the locals came in from walking across town and was "too hot". He left, went to his buddy's car, and turned on the a/c and put his forehead in the cool air. Came back and made it past the gestapo. It was all so silly looking back on it. We're all still alive, BTW.
