The only kind of moderation that makes sense on a public facing platform like Twitter (I think message boards like these are different--they should be run how the creators/moderators see fit) is self regulation.
You don't like the things someone says to you or to others? You disagree with their views so much that it disturbs your peace and you don't have the bandwidth to deal with them? You're two clicks away from blocking them. There is simply no need to tattle tale to the owners of the site. It's not something they ever needed to get involved in.
Elon needs to stop suspending anyone for anything they say, ever. Even for posting illegal things. If people post illegal things, other posters can report them to the police and use the posts as evidence. Get completely out of the censorship game. It's a slippery slope and completely unsustainable.
If someone wants to post something, let them. If they want to delete it, let them. If a law is broken, alert the authorities. If you don't want to be exposed to that poster for whatever reason, block them. It's called being an adult and Democrats have forgotten what that means.
when the government went full fledged Patriot Act , that was a major blow to the Constitution, but no one organized to protect that amendment. It was all about fear of the men with towels on their heads. It worked. Congress signed away a major liberty when it was passed. Allowed a distracting war and lives to be lost and or fucked up forever. The technology is just getting better, and we all succumb to it, hoping that there are actually white hats. I mean, here I am with a Star link dish in front of my house. Google maps satellite can see the tarp covering my cordwood in the back of the house. Yes my phone was bugged in the 90's because I was a family friend of an attorney who happened to be on the wrong side of Cheney?Bush Inc. Technology is getting better and there are few places , if you are hooked up to anything, you are free anymore. After the Patriot Act passed, I took a hard turn to God I was already pretty devote and scripture literate, but I sure would not call myself a patriot after that, nope. Government is too confusingly entangled with bad intentions. The founding fathers were not all that great either, the history of this country is hidden half the time. This distraction that distraction. To be a purist resistor would mean to unplug altogether and not spend so much time in a dimension where true privacy is not possible.
Yeah, except Musk is going turn Twitter into WeChat, which will be logging your social credit score and issuing/revoking your CBDC tokens accordingly. He's totally in on this.
I still don't trust Elon. Why would someone who was a hobknocker to the elite be so incensed to own a majorly important tool of communication and not really show where he truly stands at, especially knowing this platform can be manipulated to force people into doing things against their wills?
This is why I believe Elon has capitulated to the WHs and is doing as told. Elon has nothing but a history of grifting, forcing people out of companies, then taking the credit where no credit is really due with all the companies he has been involved with. Not to mention, his companies have a history of falling short of what he is selling such as all the missed timelines and questionable timelines to begin with at SpaceX, and I am not sure that the Boring Company and his hyperloops ever amounted to anything at all.
This time around with Twitter feels too much like a military operation with surgical precision in this info war. Something that I find hard to believe is genuinely instigated by Elon. I am starting to wonder if it is even really him who is posting with his account but would not be surprised if he is being told what to post at the least. Elon did not just "get along" with the elite before, he was born of them and knew nothing but them from birth until, as it would seem, now.
Yeah, I just don't buy that Musk just woke up one day and thought he would drop almost 50 billion dollars on Twitter just for giggles and to champion free speech. The timing seems very telling. I would love to know all that is going on under the radar and I guess we will learn about much of it on the other side of this. I think it will be mind-blowing!
Say no to all smart technology that you can. I'm looking at houses to size up but not really a good time. The ones that have smart appliances and say "all appliances stay", I'm thinking, no, you can take your Spyware with you when you leave. I refuse to have any appliances with "smart" technology including my phone(flip, cheap).
Bingo. CBDC's, Digital ID coupled with biotechnology and mass surveillance of your movements and financial transactions, thoughts online etc.
The biggest danger to all of humanity.

lol yeah guns really saved us when they locked down the whole planet and stole the US presidential election. Waking people up is what wins
I wasn't locked down, at all. Red states were not locked down. Waking up people is the goal, 100% agreed.
The public awake is their greatest fear.

If you want to be 'damned' - use God's name in vain. You will see it!!
The only dividing line has always been between good and evil.
Sadly, some people don’t know the difference.
When both sides are evil and people "pick the lesser of two evils", where else would we find ourselves?
The difference is between people willing to surrender their rights and freedom for the illusion of safety those of us who are not.
And maybe those who won't accept child groomers too, but gotta make progress with normies one hot-button Elon tweet at a time.

I dont think it is forgotten as much as it is a coordinated plan: Demonrats want us all to be children of the state, no matter the age.
The fight has only ever been freedom v tyranny.
"Biosecurity" is way too kind and soft a word for an authoritarian pseudomedical bioterrorism state
Also "Resist" is WAAAYYY too weak a verb for this
Need a new verb for "completely, flagrantly refuse and permanently reject"

Which still pretty much boils down to liberal vs conservative. Or perhaps Right vs (Center + Left.)
Time to stiffen our resolve and aim for the bottom line.

Didn't Trump get along with the elite until he announced his run for president? Then he was the reincarnation of Hitler.

And which side do you think the neuralink guy is on?
The disabled
Those that think they're "chipping" your brain? The mentally disabled
I have a problem with this use of the word "security".
Doesn't Elon want to to turn Twitter into an "everything app" where you can do shopping, payments etc.???
Did he forget "authoritarian"?
