I am drowning in credit card debt just to afford the basics anymore. It wouldn't be so hard if we didn't also have to cover elderly in-law expenses for their home, as well. Prayers are appreciated because I'm not sure how much more I can endure. I realize it's just numbers on a screen but it's just so damn maddening. All my savings is tied up in retirement accounts and I have 20 years to wait unless I just say screw it and empty it all out just to survive the next few years.
Tldr; it's pretty freaking dark in my life and I'm constantly praying for a miracle 🙏 God bless you, frens.

Pretty sure if people are still worried about credit card debt we aren't at the precipice and shit will get alot worse.
You can roll some of it into a gold IRA (e.g., Noble Gold). Get real metal, and avoid any penalties. Of course, you have to assume the Broker will survive that crash, and still deliver the silver and gold to your doorstep.

I've personally pulled everything and diversifying into basically half survival mode and half current illusion of life and society.
