Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Cates anti-Q from Oct 2016 - August 2022-ish? Not that I have an issue with him coming around, but seems a little sanctimonious, considering what I (we) have endured - those of us that have been in the thick of the fight since day 01.

Don't mind the account - l've been here a while. Winsanon was a reguIar when I was still frequenting. These guys aren't here to know what's right. They're here to be right. It's why they're coy... Until much of what's been said is just undeniable.
He didn't do it in a sanctimonious way, but, back in 2017 (when I started following him very closely) he was just focused on other areas of research. At the time, Q was a very quiet far more silent voice.
I know. He basically ignored Q's existence until recently. He's kinda like a limited hangout in reverse. I'm fine with his coming about as I think he's a fine reporter and produces a quality product. And I'm sure if he came out as pro-Q early on, his credibility would have suffered, in addition to him being a target. As an anon, it's just frustrating to see other more notable figures all of a sudden have an a-ha moment when we saw it right in front of us. And maybe he's smarter than I and saw it realized the ramifications of embracing Q early on.
Did you not have a moment early on like i did where you told someone something would happen and they didnt believe you and you were mocked? From then on i stayed away from predictions or mentioning Q to the normies. Instead i focused on showing them q themes that had evidence they werent seeing.
That moment for me was telling people hillary would be arrested next weekend. So i learned the ramifications early. My whole family thinks im a right wing nut now.

You know? I see both sides. But if I had to come down on one side or the other, I'd come down agreeing with you. These people know. They know. They know that their entire world is built on pain and exploitation of smaller people. But, you and me, and them, we still live in a society built on that exploitation. I hardly think listening to yet another puff-chested, self-proclaimed pundit braying superiority by being condescending to others is grounds for separation. It's like some here who bray that, when an anon doesn't have a 40K combined karma, they're not pulling their weight, don't deserve respect and their contrary opinions deserve at least a temporary ban. These attitudes of those who choose to behave like this towards fellow patriots just provides more insight into their personalities.
I, personally, have a variety of history-attitudes to deal with (when the shtf) from people in my circle (hopefully, finally) waking up and will deal with each of them individually. It's likely I'll be much kinder than I'm thinking of being right now to some who have been more caustic in the past. Those who were just stubborn, scared, etc who I could not reach/convince, I'll likely show loads of compassion towards and help in any way I can.

The last I looked, the Q team hadn't assigned Mr. Cates as their spokesperson nor have others elected him to set rules of engagement. I read this kind of message and distill it down into "So-&-so feels strongly about this topic, but has a crappy way of communicating. His heart is probably in the right place." The my-way-or-the-highway proclamations and self-proclaimed moral superiority bravado (Mr. Cates' above missive being just one recent example) is tiresome at best, but not grounds to step away from the good conversations available on the board. We are the lucky ones. We had time to experience all the little ego-deaths. Identity deaths, and metamorphosis necessary to emerge here, now, with enough of the truth about the world we live in, that no new revelation will shatter us.
We could literally have the world go black, the lights come on and Morpheus could pull us from our goo-pod, unhook our data-line, and we would be like: “Yup figures…let’s get to work.”
The world is only going to exist for a while because WE are able to function and keep the lights on for them…literally and figuratively.
Some people will be shattered, some may not survive the shock or be able to adapt. But we will. We got to spread our pain out, for some, getting it all at once, will literally kill them.
