I was just at a used DVD and CD store this afternoon. There was a guy looking at DVDs, all masked up. When I excused myself to pass him, he looked at me, noticed I wasn't wearing a mask, and a look of fear passed over his eyes. He quickly scrambled to the other side of me and looked to see if he was maintaining six feet between us. It was both hilarious and sad at the same time.
Had a similar experience at my mother's funeral last year. We were all mask free. A lady comes in with a mask, no harm, no foul. I did not recognize her. We chatted a bit and when she said who she was, I recognized her name as being a very good friend of mom's. I gave her a big smile and reached to shake hands and thank her for the friendship she showed to mom. The words, "Oh thank you" were out as I stuck out my hand. She literally backed up three paces with a look of abject terror in her eyes.
They are panicking that a “new” covid variant will arrive from China. It will (at least that’s what they will tell us) and the vaccines won’t work on this variant. Lockdowns will lead to digital ID and currency and total control of the people. At that point it’s over, unless the people resist and revolt. We shall see.
This is the cold and flu season. People are getting sick as they always have. The difference is they are now afraid, and panicking about ordinary infections. The psyop really did a number on many people.
In a few cases people are sick but still have to be out. They have become more aware of a responsibility to protect others from catching their illness, and are actually masking up for the good of others. This might be the one effective reason for a mask. I know when I was out today I was very aware of the hacking and coughing around me, and some of those people were actually masked up.
I'm sorry but if out in public and you have to cough it's not hard to cough onto your sleeve. Masking is dangerous for many reasons. Unless the wearer feels better wearing one for whatever reason, there is no scientific reason to do it. It doesn't stop viruses. At all. But Happy New Year's!

I agree - I went into San Antonio city limits and saw double masked people amid 90% no mask in a restaurant— I think some people are inherently so fragile they’re terrified of life in general and that’ll never change ( hence success of QVC and Home Shopping network in the late 80’s)
I live in the rural area north and the insanity hardly even happened at all- the whole three years of this crap
During the dark winter of death I wore a gaiter daily to pacify the maskers. I learned that a gaiter around my neck kept me warm so I have been wearing one during the winter, the freezageddon.
I feel like that at this point, masks are equivalent to having numbers tattooed on your body. Those wearing masks will happily file into the trains without questioning where it is going.
They (vaccinated) keep getting sick because they destroyed their immune system. RSV is currently making the rounds.
And the masks are an accelerant for that process.
