I went to McDonald’s today for the first time in months, all I wanted was a sausage and pancake breakfast. I only eat half of it, and I was sick all day. Ugh. I really don’t like to eat fast food, but it was an odd day. Never again.
Happy New Year to y’all. What a great time to be alive, and what a wonderful day it was. My sweet 81 year old Mama still makes the best collard greens, black eye peas and cornbread in South Carolina. I’m so grateful for all my blessings. Can’t wait to see what this year will bring. I’m anticipating great things. It’s been a long movie but we are seeing progress. Not much noise last night. The celebration was underwhelming to say the least. I live in a rural small town that is ...how do you say redneck without alarming a lefty? Normally on 12-31st it sounds like downtown Baghdad during Desert Storm in my town. I live in the country with about five houses on my side of the road and seven on the other side. My family is on one side & another family the other. Usually I hear gun shots on July 4th & New Year’s in addition to any day of the week. I haven’t heard gun shots in months.

Tonight as I was watching the GA Dawgs play an awful football game in the CFP against Ohio! As that ball fell at midnight in NY, I watched the Ohio kicker miss a field goal only to allow My Dawgs to win the game by 1 pt! 42-41.
Which got me to thinking about this place. And Q. Please stay with me. If you will. It was a terrible game. Ga played awful, but ended up winning in the end. And Q says We win in the end! Pr thst we have ready won, sorry I can't remember exactly. So, I may not be able to see all the plays being made, like I can in the football game. But, I need to trust they are being made! So we do in fact Win! Some plays may have a flag thrown on them, and you may get a penalty etc... which either pushes you backwards or forwards and you have to rethink your next move. I apologize for being a sour puss previously! I know a football analogy probably isn't the way to come off. But it's what got me thinking. Moves and counter moves. Thank yall. Happy New Year! 😊
