GWP: gave an update this morning (1-12-23) on the moves. Russia is for sure moving its Navy to possibly position for a heavy beating on Ukraine. Or finish off their army before NATO can reposition things. I’d do the same. Take over all of it. Call a cease fire, assist both Ukrainian and Russian civilians, secure the part that has VOTED to be part of Russia, then back out to those areas and let Ukraine have the rest of their country back.
Ooh, is this where they begin to take Odessa, opening up a port to the East and Africa for eastern European countries quietly looking for a reason to leave the EU that's been strong-arming and stifling them, thereby weakening the EU further?
Article mentions two Kilo class boats: The Project 877 or Platus diesel-electric submarine, better known in the West as the Kilo class, was designed in the early 1970s for the anti-submarine and anti-ship defense of Soviet naval bases, coastal installations and sea lanes, and also for the patrol and surveillance tasks. First delivered from the shipyard at Komsomolsk in eastern Siberia, but then built in the western USSR at Nizhny Novgorod ant the Admiralty Yard in Leningrad (now St. Petersburg), the boat is of the medium-endurance type and the first example was launched in 1979 for completion in 1982.
I wouldn't think Russia's going to go after Odessa until they retake Kherson so their land forces will have clear supply lines. Further, so many of Russia's forces are tied up in Belarus right now or in active combat in Donetsk and Luhansk, I'd be very surprised if there was any serious attempt on Ukraine's remaining major naval port city.
SWIFT moves? Double meaning? Russia also tokenized gold which is basically XRP. XRP is the SWIFT killer, which is the system banks use to do international money transfers.

what was started in the Ukraine needs to have been finished. I'm sure even the momentum-change was planned but feels horrible.
Now the House can no longer pay the Ukrainians. Hehe.
It's like a game of chicken to see who declares outright war first.
Just in time to get ahead of the arrival of the announcement that we are sending and training for Patriot missiles.
You use submarines to protect a capital ship from enemy ships. I'm surprised this old usage was not mentioned.
great find brent.i guess the ground in southern Ukraine has finally ice-cubed up.
