Okay I'm ready now. I think this Friday would be appropriate to return so he has the weekend to get settled in.
One thought and this may be a bit of a downer, but hear me out to the end.
Growing up, all through the 80s and 90s, when there was a natural disaster or some sort of calamity, America always rushed to help. A hurricane hit the Eastern seaboard, volunteers drove supplies in. We had drives in school to donate all sorts of essentials for those affected. When a tsunami hit Thailand, celebrities lined up to hold a concert fundraiser and millions poured in to help. Rescue teams, mission teams, government and private mobilized immediately to help. I grew up when we fed Africa during a famine. We fed the Soviets and communist China. We were always there to help.
We are fundamentally an incredibly generous people.
And yet, what happened with this? Even the journalists were censored. Anyone who was concerned was turned away. The government stonewalled. None of the "leaders" in corporate America or Hollywood wanted to help. Nothing. The world sat and watched like deer in the headlights, like a mob of imbeciles watching a horrific crime and whose only response was to pull out their cell phone and record it for clicks and likes on social media.
No one stepped up. We've all known it was bad. And yet no one organized anything. No leader stepped up. Until Trump.
I can't tell you all how much I feel to my core that we need Trump now more than ever. No one else is capable right now. No one else is willing to do it for the right reasons. Not your church leaders. Not the conservative talking heads and certainly not the RINOs who are busy looting taxpayer aid to Ukraine, scrambling over the scraps from the globalists' table. We desperately need leadership to step up. The people are willing to be lead. They're aching for it. But right now, no one but Trump is willing and able.
Forget DeSantis or Tim Scott. They're decent people and conservative fighters, but they don't lead where it matters. They follow. They follow trends and political momentum. They speak only after someone else makes an issue. Reactive, not proactive. We can't have that in a fight for the soul of this nation, the fight for our way of life.
However, was the money from the celebrity concerts really going to those causes, or was it a money making scheme and only a pittance was distributed? We can’t believe anything we have heard anymore.

MSM is covering it? My Dad watches news all day and he had no idea that Trump was in East Palastine until Tucker showed it last night, even though I told him several times that Trump was going and that FEMA changed their minds because of Trumps announcement. Nobody showed it, nobody spoke of it, except for alternative news channels that you must seek out purposely and Tucker.
After Dad heard Tucker speak of it I showed him the you tube video. He was shocked that MSM completely ignored it.

Dads awake as much as a man can be thats been indoctrinated for 85 years (86 on Monday). Hes still on the Fox News but old habits die hard at that age. I nightly watch Tucker with him just so I can help counter any narratives and hes open to what I say. He just told Mom the other day that Ive been right about everything Ive said since Trump walked down the escalator.
Id classify Dad as a mostly red pilled normie who has extreme difficulty believing that the whole of government is evil. He used to ask me during FISAgate if I thought every FBI agent was evil. Hed say do you think Woodys Dad is evil? (Woody is my youngest brothers BFF and his Dad is retired FBI) And Id answer that Woodys Dad was a field agent and that advancement in the FBI was set up to reward those who are evil so that you ended up evil accumulating at the top. He accepts this as fact now and even points out how its affected the whole of government.
He will never be ready to accept some of the red pills on how widespread the satanism and pedophilia run among the majority of our government. But hes far enough along to accept the widespread treason and some of the depravity being real.
Dad is a Trump guy and understands only Trump has the ability to heal this Nation. I count this as a victory. I just have to watch out for nonsense from Fox seeping in like deSantis or this slick talking newcomer that announced his candidacy on Tucker the other night.
I hear ya. My pop is about the same age (83) and sounds almost identical to yours. Definitely conservative, definitely awake, but (at least in my pop's situation) totally unprepared for whats coming. The gov can't be THAT bad can they? The satan/pedo/cabal situation cant be THAT bad can it? He knows its there, but no idea just how deep it runs and how bad it is.
Good that you watch the "news" with your pop so you can guide a bit. I can't do the same so my dad eats up way too much MSM and is therefore oblivious to certain news.
