I have well over 7000 plastic straws wrapped in paper that I bought before castro Jr. banned them. I keep some in the car, some in my jacket, some at work. I will not use those garbage paper straws....NO.
Also I have like over 1000 each of plastic forks, knives and spoons. Those wooden ones are retarded. I think I am good until some sanity returns. If not I will be sucking on plastic straws forever lol

no i just have a shitload of disposables that I can use. Ever try and use that shit paper ones in a drink in the cupholder of the car, forget about the mouth feel, the straw dissolves and you get a pulp in your drink. I would buy those expensive reusable straws if i was on the road and just throw them away if i didnt have my stash with me.
I like to make my point at restaurants that serve this crap. Every 5 minutes I ask for another straw for my cocktail because they keep falling apart. Use the shit out of those stupid things so that the restaurant owners JUST might notice that they're losing their asses on buying all these.

Only time I do is in a fast food cup and I rarely do fast food.

My wife packs me a wonderful lunch everyday but my job requires me to be in my truck an awful lot throughout a day between jobsites and sometimes its unavoidable.

Hahaha - never mind. I had my two front teeth capped and they are now very temperature sensitive so I use straws for everything. I'm from the South and have ice in everything. If I switch from my caffeinated beverage to water, I just rinse the straw and keep using it. It wouldn't occur to me to throw it out and use another one. :) Until the cat chews the tip . . . those go in the trash. :D

Idiots complain that plastic straws end up in the ocean. You are barking up the wrong tree. You need to find out why your city is dumping their trash in the oceans instead of the land fills. Trash properly disposed of does not end up in the oceans. It just doesn't. If my garbage somehow gets from the city garbage truck into the oceans, it's not my fucking problem.
I think the idea was, since we're barge shipping our trash to China who we pay to dump it in the ocean and let it float back to us, we know it will end up in the ocean so let's make it all degrade in sea water

And they cut down trees to make these paper straws. Trees filter and clean the air we breath. Not a great plan.
And think of the environmental damage and slave labor involved in producing those smartphones they use constantly.
And the lithium and cobalt mining required so that they can have a new cell phone every year. The pollution and slave labor required to keep them up with the latest gear is sickening.
A metal reusable straw would probably be the better option as far as environmentally friendly goes.

Love the meme but that most likely is cellophane. Cellophane is made from regenerated cellulose and isnt plastic. It is biodegradable.
