This is the biggest piece of horse shit (pun) article I've seen in a while. They come in all sizes. If hair is so big that it requires a significantly larger size helmet the functionality of the helmet is compromised anyway. Change hair style. Decide between passion for riding and passion for big hair.
Or quit with the disciplines that "require" helmet use. I've been on a lot of horses, a lot of rank horses, bucking horses, a helmet has never touched my head. Course I may have lost some brain function from some of the wrecks but whatever. kek
Yeah me too, even worked on a ranch @ one point. I was more concerned about a horse rolling on me while gathering cattle in rough terrain or getting bucked off and screwing my back up.
I've been in some pretty spectacular wrecks and messed up but the biggest fear was always going over backward and horn to chest or not kicking out fast enough on a trip and roll. I'm sure we could swap stories for a while. o7

If this is a real problem then if you know of a solution you could make a lot of money out of it. Design a more appropriate helmet and market it. Why wait for someone else to do it?
