Tbh it looks like the yellow from the flames could be whitewashed out to look white. You can see a dark spot in the middle of the fat front part that lines up with where the black dead space behind the flames is.
Yes, I would say these are Vans Old Skool in both pictures. The flames don't quite fit either picture - I wonder if, as an artist, she may have done a custom rainbow or nebula design on them. It definitely seems the shoes match but the first image is just very high contrast.
I'm not convinced at all with this shoe nonsense. The laces on the Puma shoe do not terminate where the shooter's laces terminate in the photo. It's not a match. The flames on the Vans-style shoes posted don't even match.
There is no shoe difference conspiracy here. The laces placement in relation to side decoration alone is evidence enough that the shooter is not wearing the Puma shoes shown in the image.

The actual puma shoe picture has the emblem begin at like the 2nd lace from the toe…,the video shows the side emblem begin before the laces from the toe.
Puma shoe or not doesn’t really matter. But school cam and police cam video, both shoes are definitely not the same one.
And shoe lace can be changed to different styles even though most people would be too lazy to do it.

I don't believe the PUMA is a match for the blurry left picture. It should be obvious that the white bar accent on the side begins at the third lace step from the front of the shoe.
The white accent bar in the picture begins at the first lace step and is therefore too far forward on the shoe to be match for the PUMA.
Although I also suspect the entry picture shoe is different from the dead perp shoe picture, we probably need to stop suggesting its the PUMA because that's really low hanging fruit for others to point out the mismatch there and thus derail the more important argument about there being different shoes to begin with.

After poking around for a while, the only Pumas I could find that have laces which start at the logo swoosh thing are men's c-rey style, those all seem to come with color-matched laces however, and also have the puma logo on the sides of the heel. Feels weird, like we're turning this tranny into Cinderella.

IMO it's impossible to tell from this image how much of the white is shoelace.
There's also a thread on TS pointing out several problems with this theory about different shoes. Most notable, the flames are iridescent and would show up as bright white on the IR surveillance camera.
