I originally posted that “climate change = sun cycles”, which perhaps isn’t correct. But with all the chem trails and weather seeding/ HAARP, and other weather manipulation techniques being tried, it wouldn’t surprise me if the sun’s activity does have a significant roll to play.
I don’t pretend to even understand much of it, but rather do find it fascinating.
Thousands of years is too short. Climate cycles last for millions of years. For example, the Earth's climate has been cooling from "hothouse" 65 million years ago (dinosaurs, etc). to our current "icehouse" climate of the last 2 million years.
There are cycles within cycles however - the hothouse and icehouse climates describe the long term trends. We are currently in a geologically short period of warm climate called an "interglacial" within the overall icehouse climate. Interglacials generally last 10 to 15 thousand years, and then the ice ages come back for 100,000 to 120,000 years.. The current interglacial is called the Holocene.
Within the interglacial, there are warm periods (Minoan, Roman, Medieval, modern) and cold periods (Sporer, Maunder, Daltan). Cycles within cycles on a shorter scale as well.
As an example, I grew up in Wisconsin, and my degree was in Geology/Geophysics. 18,000 years ago at the end of the last ice age, Wisconsin was buried under continental ice sheets literally a mile thick. The great lakes were carved out by those ice age glaciers, and filled up when they melted around 11,000 years ago (start of the Holocene interglacial).
The Holocene is coming to an end, and over the next few thousand years the climate will be cooling back down to icehouse. We have plenty of time to adapt, but the whole global warming/climate change hoax is just another DS/cabal attempt to create a one world government... exactly the same as the plandemic, CBDC's, etc.
All the globalists, worldwide, need to stop breathing... soon.
We are approaching a Grand Solar Minimum. If it hits as deeply as the Maunder Minimum in the 1600s were in for some cold weather. That period is known as the Little Ice Age. Average temps in the northern hemisphere dipped from 5 to 15 degrees from 1645 until 1715. Crops failed, rivers that dont usually freeze, froze. Ever wonder why the Netherlands is so into speed skating? Look to this period. The canals froze regularly, something that doesnt happen often now.
Have you checked the political persuasion of the people that told you this? Sounds like you put a lot of weight into what the establishment says is reality.
I think ice ages are more so that the summer times aren't as hot and they are more short so the snow in the higher elevations never melts. The only consistent thing I've noticed the last few years is it's very humid no matter what the season is
I used to live close to Lake Erie, we would go to this place called Panama rocks to hike it was an area carved out by glaciers. Really cool place, I'm pretty sure where I grew up around there was also covered by about a mile of ice

Remember the stopping of the weather modification for several days just after Trump took office? Things were so beautiful for a little while. That was one of my first hints that something might actually be different about his presidency.
And I be curious how many other conservationists or folks that are in tune to weather science would think about the changes that his admin did... When you hear a bunch of the media bitch about the environmental changes he made but never singlely pointed out a specific example, of course I'm suspicious...
